well...the "biggie" is the macbook: got a refurb for $750 plus a free printer...
then it needed a case so got that from amazon along with one of their "lightening deals" - Spa Science, then someone on the budget board said that 6pm had a flip for 50 bucks - and how cool would that be to go with the laptop since she wants to make her own web show? then i figured she needs clothes, and justice has the 40% off code, so spent 50 bucks there...

Ohhh...you might need help! Stay away from the shopping sites!

Sounds like you found some good deals though. I was able to get some of the things I wanted for my kids this weekend but I am hoping to find some great deals online coming up.

I am still looking for a Nintendo DS lite and then things for DD. Emily has said she only wants money because she is saving for a MacBook but I still want her to have some small gifts under the tree.

Well........

Just returned to reality after 3 days at AKL then a Magical Eastern Turkey Cruise.

This was one of our best family vacations ever!! We had a great disboard group and many of them are joining this sailing also...

I am very excited about the Disney Dream... There was lots of talk about it aboard the Magic.

We are now working on laundry and going through all the mail.

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving....

I hope to post several picutures with some upgrades being made to Castaway Cay........

Just returned to reality after 3 days at AKL then a Magical Eastern Turkey Cruise.

This was one of our best family vacations ever!! We had a great disboard group and many of them are joining this sailing also...

I am very excited about the Disney Dream... There was lots of talk about it aboard the Magic.

We are now working on laundry and going through all the mail.

Glad you had a great vacation! I can't wait to hear if you learned anything about the Dream and to see the photos of Castaway Cay!

It is fun to hear that there will be a new group of great DIS members to join our group! Just wish that our cruise was a bit closer....

just got back from NYC and the Premiere of the new Princess and the Frog Movie. Yet, again Disney has done a GREAT JOB. The Ultimate Disney Experience after the movie was AWESOME. The kids are BEAT!!

We're trying to plan out our day when we go see the P&F. How long is the movie? Did you have to get there early? How long was the DE afterwards? What time will we be done? Of course DD wants to go to American Girl and I want to squeeze in some shopping.

Yet another Turkey joining this group! It will be tough waiting until Aug 2011 to sail again, but that's what I thought about the Thanksgiving cruise when we booked almost 2 years out, and that vacation is already over... Thank goodness I have something to look forward to!

DD10 and DH had their parasailing canceled due to high winds -- they are both happy that this cruise will provide 2 opportunities to try again!

The movie last about 90 minutes. I will post some pictures from it this evening. You need to arrive one hour before the show starts. You can not take a camera, or video-cameras into the movie at all the give you a baggie and a number and have you put your id into the baggie with it and give you a claim number to get it after the movie is over. I recommend getting up a few minutes before the movie is over. Bruce, stayed and watched the last two minutes of the movie and I went out and got the cameras, etc. I was the first one in line. Otherwise, your waiting outside in the freezing cold in a HUGE line to get your camera. You soo need your camera at the DE afterwards.........They have popcorn, and PF collector cups for sale before the movie.
The DE is AWESOME, what we did was have one adult in one line and another adult in line for a different princess with the kids with the camera. This way when we got done with one we were almost ready to see the next one. If you do not do this your DD will not be able to see all of the Princesses. Then we did the Bayou Adventure for a few minutes, the Tiana Craft Room, then the games, then the gift shop.....Then you get your lithographs, and you get your Madri-Gras Beeds before the movie starts you need to wear your beeds to get your lithographs. We got to get four lithographs......Very Nice. If you collect Pins there is a LIMITED EDITION PIN~~ONLY that can be bought in NYC at the DE......................

We did not get out of the DE until 5:00 when it closed!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone. Busy weekend we had. The outside of the house is almost done, lights are hung, wreaths out, garland on the porch rail, the herd of deer is getting put out as we speak. Next weekend is the Christmas tree and the rest of the inside decorating. Boy there is a lot to do for this holiday. Just waiting for the Christmas cards to come in and then I can address those and get them done. I just love Christmas time!

We got our first Christmas card yesterday. You know who you are - thanks!!

Hello everyone!! I hope you all enjoyed the holiday weekend!!!
Welcome new cruisers!!!
We are still enjoying company! Tomorrow we are going to Knott's Berry Farm, and Tuesday Amber, Pablo and the kids leave. I think that is when I will start decorating for Christmas. It just gets too messy with all the boxes and containers. My village alone is in three containers!!
There's a good chance we will be spending Christmas in Arizona. So I'm not sure if we will be getting a tree this year.

Kristin, I'm so glad you had a great time in NY.
