Candy, I'm so jealous that you get to go to DL. Do you have AP's? When I lived there the California side wasn't open yet and the SoCal AP's were only $99. What a bargan! We just paid over $400 each for our AP's to DW last year that's a hughe difference. I wish I still lived near DL I think it's cool how they change HM and IASW for the holidays. I don't know why they don't do that at DW.

Terri, we do have annual passes. We get the Southern California Select. We just renewed them for $144 for both parks. And we also bought a parking pass. The "select" has all the weekends, holidays, and from the third week in June through th middle of August all blocked out. But with Randy's schedule, we are able to go on weekdays, and I try to stay away around holidays and prime summer months. It just gets too crowded.
I LOVE IASW at DL! They do so much to that building (inside and out) for the holidays. We were there around Christmas, and my DDs and I just stood outside of it and watched the great light show against the building. It was amazing!!! They have different reflections of charactors and snowflakes and all kinds of different stuff, that moves to music. And they really light that place up with Christmas lights when the show isn't going on. I just love it!!

Candy, I was just looking at your upcomming cruises in your siggie and saw you are going on the freedom on 10/10. I'm going on the freedom on 10/9, but it's the carnival one instead. For a minute there I thought we were going on the same cruise!

That would have been great!!! Where is your Freedom cruise taking you? And what port does it sail out of?

It sails out of Ft. Lauderdale, it's an 8 day Eastern Carribean. Where does yours go? Also, I can't believe that it's still so cheap for AP's out there.

Ours sails out of Port Canaveral. It is also an Eastern. We hit St Maarten, St Thomas and Coco Cay (RCCL's private island). What ports do you hit?

The price is nice. We got the cheapest one you could get. It goes up from there. It starts (for so cal residents) at $170 and goes up to $365 (non so cal res). We were able to get ours for $144 because we renewed it online before it expired.

It is a cold and dreary sort of day here as it is raining nonstop. I am missing all the sunshine we had last week.

Stayed at work until 6:30 tonight working on report cards. I am now home and already hanging out in bed - guess this means I am skipping my cross-training workout tonight!

Wow this site is slow tonight! Jen, I can't believe that it's report card time already. I think ours was pushed back because of all that time we missed durning the snow.

I was just telling Kristin this weekend that I hate that we don't get snow days but I love that we don't have to go to school later in the summer because of snow days.

I stayed at work late tonight and will stay late tomorrow to get them all done for conferences on Friday. It is such a tiring time for me. I will try to get my scheduled runs in though because we have the first 7K coming up on the 20th.

Hey Randy, I was telling Candy earlier tonight that we'll be cruising on the Freedom at the same time except mine is the Carnival one. I wonder if we'll be at the same ports on the same days??? That would be cool. We'll be in St. Thomas on the 12th, what day are you guys there?
