SHe is at the RI and will be meeting us all for dinner too!!

Thanks for the info! Does anyone know if the night before dinner meet at the port has any set plans yet? (i.e. place/time, etc) We will be coming in from WDW and will try to make it, but not sure yet. If we don't make it for dinner, I would love to hook up after, if possible.

Thank you Jen..!! She just called and said it went ok...She can't really lift anything more than 20lbs.. for the next three days but other than that she is feeling ok!! She can't swim either for a few days, but my mom doesn't swim anyways so that is not a BIG deal for her!!

So, glad to hear things went well for her!

Have a busy day today...

Have to prep everything for the dog's stay at the pet resort.
Still have laundry to do. Why is that always never ending?!
Need to take the kid's to a play date this morning.

Pretty much done with the packing. Just have to add the kid's nintendos to their bags. Placed all the luggage in the garage and will put them in the car tonight.

Leaving for the airport at 6am tomorrow!

Can't wait!

Today is our packing day - I know, I am a procrastinator.

Safe travels to all leaving today!

The American Idol concert was great. We really enjoyed it.

Took watches to Walmart to get batteries in them for the cruise. Darn person BROKE the crystal on Beth's watch (a personalized Kim Possible one..gift from my sister).

They gave me a choice of any of their inexpensive (~$10-$15) watches and will reimburse for a replacement. I went online last night and the Disney store has ones there for about $40 (customizable but with different character choices now).

The Assistant Manager told me it would be okay to replace the watch on the ship or at WDW too if we wanted to. Does DCL have special character watches or do you think we should wait until we are at WDW?

I don't recall their being much for character watches at all on the cruise, the last time we were on the Magic.

Now this is a hassle that I am sure you could have done without this close to leaving on a trip! You are lucky that they are going to pay for a replacement. Many times when places like this change a watch battery they do not take responsibility if any damage is done.

Anyway, ate lunch and made our way over to the Auto Train station. Now I need to mentally prepare myself for the trip ahead (not really thrilled about the Auto Train!)

Morning Everyone! DD and I just got back from having our nails done - it was a nice relaxing way to start our day. DH took DS to get his hair cut this morning as well.

Today we will just be watching the minutes tick on by. DD wants to go to the video store to rent something. It is pretty cool here today and so laying around watching movies sounds like a good plan.

That is a bummer that they broke the watch! I was happy to read that they are going replace it for you. All the little things that come up at the end.

We are just bumming with our van repair. After having it towed to the shop, they got it to start without problems so we thought it was all good. They tried to start it this morning and it wouldn't start. Turns out it is some expensive sensor and they will be repairing it today. I do NOT want the repair bill before we go but what do you do.

I'm pretty sure the plan is to order take-out and hang out pool-side at the RI unless it rains (if that happens Kristin mentioned a meeting room we might get to use). My twins are wearing their swimsuits under their clothes as the plan is for them to swim while we wait for the food to arrive. We won't be there too late into the night as I have a feeling the kids (and me) were too excited to get much sleep the night before! We should be checking in at the CI&S mid afternoon. Now we just have to wait until MONDAY! I hope some people will remain on here to chat with those of us left behind...

We did the auto train a couple of years back. It was fun, would do it again although I didn't sleep very well in our room. Tried a couple of 12oz sedatives to help the process, but didn't really work. Liked the food, the dining car was nice.

I have officialy "passed the baton" at work to those who will be taking over my workload. Just got back from a great Chinese buffet lunch and am now ready for a nap. (kidding).

I am pretty much waiting for the next 3 hours to pass before I can utter the familar words: YABBA DABBA DO!

As Beth said - we will be ordering food and going to pick it up from an Italian restaurant that is suppose to be fairly close. We will hang out by the pool for a bit and then I am planning on having my family turn in at a reasonable hour.

Beth - Looks like you and I will both be here until MONDAY! It seems so far away. I hope you have some plans to pass the days. Today is really cool and gray here so we are getting ready to go pick up the van and then come back and watch some movies. I won't be on a whole bunch tomorrow because we have to go to a wedding.

I am going to ask on the main board too, but do you guys know if the two day rental prices for floats and snorkel equipment can be gotten there? Or do you have to reserve in advance for the 2 day prices?

Starting to clean the house getting it ready for vacation. Candy FINALLY comes back from the Girl's Camp tomorrow afternoon. She's been gone since Monday.

Trying to get everything done before she gets here, so she can just focus on getting herself ready. We drive to Arizona on Sunday, then plan on flying out of Phoenix early Monday morning. Should be in Port Canaveral around 3:30ish.
