Kristin, you need a break! Good thing you have a cruise comming! I had vertigo once, is it something that comes back? It was awful and I was alone with the kids at the beach when it happened, luckly I realized it in time to get us back to the place where we were staying. I didn't know there are meds you can take for that, what do the meds do?

DS got vertigo from Mission Space....total nightmare! He now has to take medicine every time we go to Disney. He really struggles with it but I think it is because he has other ENT issues.

I have to say, I am going to be quite bummed missing out on all the posting excitement leading up to the cruise. I am leaving Monday for camp and by the time I come home Sat, most of you will have already left!
I would love to play catch up and read all the post when I get back from camp, but there is no way since I have to do wash and get ready to leave the next morning, and at this rate I would have at least 300 pages to read!!

I will miss chatting with you everyday......I guess I will be calling Jen to bug her during the day...LOL!!

I hope that Bruce feels better tomorrow after laying down tonight. I've had vertigo before so I sympathize. It's no fun seeing the world sideways when you are trying to stand straight. Could he have gotten fluid in his ear from swimming?



Laurie- thanks for posting the link. How much is the CM software???



I tried Priceline for this trip but they wouldn't accept the 1 way from MCO to PC.

They said his ears were clear he says that the medicine seems to be helping him a bit!!

Just like was posted...you meet at 9 AM and start soon after. CC is totally FLAT but the sun is so hot!

I agree. It is hard that the run starts that late....the sun is high and hot!



I am thinking of you Kristin. I know this is a lot to take right now but we will get you through each day. I am keeping your whole family in my prayers! Speedy recoveries, good news from the surgeon and you holding everyone together!



We will be there, we will run but we will also be drinking TONS of water!



Bruce - grab all the other guys and meet us for the run! Remember to drink lots of water before and after the run!



I am going to be missing a bunch of days too and feel like I won't know what is going on either!

Mission Space... ugh! I almost had to use the airsickness bag the one time I rode orange!

DS totally freaked out in the ride. I had to look at him the whole time and talk him through the ride. We had the bag out and when we got off, he was so shaky. We had to visit one of the side rooms as you exit the ride (look for all the doors along the hallway...they are all filled with sinks and hoses for when people get sick). He was so sick. It was beyond awful!

That was the end of all rides, all parades (even the lights and music made him feel sick again) until we finally got a hold of his doctor and got him on medication.

We now do WDW with him fairly medicated. It is sad though because he used to love all the thrill rides - especially the Rock-n-Roller Coaster. Now he gets really scared to go on it all until after he does a few rides and realizes that his medicine is working.

I will miss chatting with you too!! Maybe I will try to sneak a phone call here and there while at camp.
I am waiting for my ride to get here right now. We are going to our local observatory to study the constelations. We have to teach some of the girls about them one night while we are up there.
I can't believe all the stuff I have to learn and get certified for! This year I had to get certified in first aid and cpr because last year when we went up with the youth camp leaders the day before (the nurse didn't arrive until the next day) we almost had to take the girls back home because nobody was certified in both. Luckily I found out my cook was certified in both, so we were able to stay. So I decided that as long as I am in charge, I am not going to let that happen again so I just got certified myself.

That's too bad your insurance won't pay for the patch. I won't cruise without one either, even though I can't read the menu by the third day!!
