I am waiting for my ride to get here right now. We are going to our local observatory to study the constelations. We have to teach some of the girls about them one night while we are up there.
I can't believe all the stuff I have to learn and get certified for! This year I had to get certified in first aid and cpr because last year when we went up with the youth camp leaders the day before (the nurse didn't arrive until the next day) we almost had to take the girls back home because nobody was certified in both. Luckily I found out my cook was certified in both, so we were able to stay. So I decided that as long as I am in charge, I am not going to let that happen again so I just got certified myself.

The girls are going to have such FUN at camp!!

It does make it feel like it is quickly approaching. But with all of these medical problems over here it still is making me nervous to proceed with our scheduled plans!!

We are George and Brenda with 3 DSs Michael 15, Anthony 11, and Nicholas 10.

We are doing the kayaking and parasailing on one day and the snorkeling the other. We are also going to universal (haven't been in 5 years) before the cruise and AKL after.

Welcome!! I have a 10 year old son, Michael. We are also going to Universal on the 12th staying at the HRH! It has been about 112 years since DH and I have been...so we are all excited to go. We've never stayed on site!! We are also doing parasailing on the first CC day @ 1:30!

Laurie, great cake!! I love your scrapbook pages! I also have Storybook Creator +, but I've never really taken the time to play withe it and learn it!! I also have tons of scrapbooking stuff which I need to actually use!!!
Count me in as another one who hates to iron!!

And, I agree with assigning it to the TA when you rebook. Between the DCL onboard credit and the Disney Visa OBC, and the TA's OBC, every littel bit helps. Plus, our TA is so very helpful when you have questions.

My AAA TA said that I couldn't combine my rebooking (from 2009) OBC and the Disney Visa OBC. Were you able too? If so, I will call my agent tomorrow!


I absolutely LOVE your pages. And, PLEASE post some more or send us a link to look at them. I haven't scrapped in years and plan on getting back into it in the near future. In fact, for Mother's Day, DH and the boys got my a nice gift certificate to the scrapbook store so I can get started again. I keep thinking of going digitial, but, I sit in front of a computer all day at work (or when taking breaks from work like right now ), so I wasn't sure if I would want to sit in front of computer to do digital scrapping. Maybe, I'll try a little - could take my laptop with me to football practice with DS11.

OK - break time took longer than I expected. You all have been super chatty today.

Disney Visa OBC???? How did you get this? I used my Disney Visa to pay for my cruise, but I did not earn any additional on board credit for this. (unless you are referring to the Disney rewards, which I got).

Good news! I heard back from the Shutters folks on-board the Dream via Concierge services.



I am very happy with the atrium option, I think it makes for a great photo!. I will cover the cost and if anybody wants to donate a couple of bucks that is fine. I am not opposed to a drink instead, although that option will probably be considerably more expensive.

Jeff, Thanks for arranging this!! I will gladly contribute for the sitting fee!

If you used your Disney Visa to pay for your entire cruise (deposit and any other subsequent payments), you should receive a $50 on board credit.

Ours didn't show up until after we made our final payment. Received that PIF email confirmation and it was NOT on there, but then applied a few days later (TA double checked it for us).

UGH, yesterday I thought maybe my job issue was resolved, and today turns out, it's still up in the air. I feel like I've been kicked in the gut, I cannot take much more!!!!!!!!! Sorry, just had to yell for a minute, before I cry.

I hope your job situation gets better soon!!! At least you don't have too much longer til vacation!!!!!!!

My TA also said we could not combine OBB OBC with the Disney Visa OBC. OBB is usually more.

Anyone know if you get the OBB OBC for cabins that were booked onboard but contain only 1st time cruisers?

Poor guy!! That sounds terrible. Alexa and I get horribly motion sick, and we won't cruise without the patch. Insurance won't pay for it but I won't go without them. I am glad we don't have vertigo also! Does the ship bother him?

Alright everyone...it is 9:45 PM here. Emily is on her way home from dance (she dances from 2:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Thursdays). It is time to get ready for bed.

Tomorrow we will be leaving for our cabin. On Saturday we will leave for our family reunion. We are going way up north (Lake Vermillion) so who knows if my mobile wi-fi will work. We should be home Sunday.

Hopefully I will get on some or I will be so far behind that it will be impossible to catch up!

Was that an insurance copay? When I look them up at Costco pharmacy, they are $45.xx for a box of 4. Of course that is quite a bit less than I paid
