Just booked the Hyatt MCO for $102 using Last Minute Travel. Thank you guys for posting that info here! It saved us $45

Now I can use that money for more DTD!

Morning Helen - Send weather relief to MN as well! Actually rain came through and cooled it off this morning. Weather man says it is going to heat right back up to the high temps again and then horrible storms tonight.

So glad you are done with school and are enjoying your time off!

I am soo excited that it is getting closer for all of us!!

Me too! I am even more excited now that we changed our flight and we will arrive earlier! It is going to be great to be there to hang out by the pool at the hotel the night before with all of you.

That's actually what they had at Red Rocks ( no tornados, but freezing rain, thunderstorms, lightning and hail)- but still went on

Enjoy the concert - sadly i've been priced out of seeing U2
-(quite a difference from seeing them 2-3 times per tour in the '80s

I am platinum and did my checkin today and as expected was told I did not have to choose an arrival time because of being platinum. I kind of expected there to be something on my signature form to bring to port that said I could arrive whenever.. but instead it was just a barcode. I know when I did the online checkin for my parents, their arrival time showed on the form.

Is that how it was for everyone else? I took a screen shot of the message that said I didnt have to choose a time just incase.

Red Rocks is an awesome venue for concerts! Growing up in Colorado, I spent many a summer night during my teenage years attending concerts there. Many thanks for the youtube U2 (say that five times!) link!

I just pulled my signature form (we're Gold) and it lists the boarding time of 10:30-11 am, which I didn't notice before in a box almost in the middle of the page (how I missed that before I don't know ).

I got my hair highlighted this morning, and my stylist is no longer there. So, I had to go with someone new, and it's a bit too blonde for my liking. Oh well. I guess I'll look summery on the cruise LOL, not sure it does much for my skin tone.

Jen, Emily's hair looks great!!! Michael got a haircut too! His was long for a boy and he wanted a buzz cut!!!! I couldn't let him go there though!!! He did get it cut short and it's cute.....He says it's a lot cooler though which is good since we are having a heat wave right now!!!! (along with most of the rest of you guys!)

Emily's haircut came out really great! You'll have some beautiful cruise photos to remember the occasion.

Megan is still waiting just a bit longer to donate hers again, she'd like the length that Emily's is now. It's such a wonderful thing to do. I'm trying to grow mine out to donate too.

Just in from Tim's birthday trip to NYC.... tired! And, we have to be up at 5:30 tomorrow morning for Keira's swim meet?!?

The temp in Central Park (just saw on the news) today was 100... I think we were strolling through there when they were taking that temp

It was brutally hot and humid today, but we survived... and surprisingly very little complaining from the younger ones?! Probably too hot to complain?! We hit the 9-11 Memorial Preview Site, the zoo, Central Park, American Museum of Natural History, plus had a great lunch and dinner. Doesn't sound like a lot, but the tourists were out in full force and that really slows everything - crowds and lines!

Morning Everyone! Thanks for all the compliments about Emily's hair. This is the 3rd time she will be donating her hair and I am proud of her for doing it. She always gets a bit scared/worried each time because it is such a change for her to have short hair. It turned out so great this time and we all will love our vacation photos!

We had the best time at the U2 concert last night. Paul and I ended up in the inner circle, under the "claw" and about 10 to 15 feet back. I cannot believe how close we were to stage and the band. It was incredible. The other thing that was incredible was the raging storm - it pour and pour and pour rain down for most of the concert....but the band played on and it was so cool.

Today will be a day of resting and keeping off the feet. 16 miles of running in the morning and then standing on them for 7 hours last night....my feet and legs are tired today. I think I will spend the day working on door magnets, getting the last things typed into our itinerary so I can print it out and finishing our vacation binder now that I have all our paperwork.

On a very sad note....I would like it if everyone could think positive thoughts for Jude (jba02) and her family who were suppose to cruise with us and then canceled. On Friday night her husband fell down and hurt himself really bad. He fractured his skull and has bleeding on the brain. He is still in ICU but is alert. They were suppose to see a neurosurgeon last night but I haven't heard from her yet to know how that went. It is really sad and I just wanted to share.

Weekend has been GREAT. Yesterday went shopping with my mom for some last minute cruise stuff for her. She wanted a new dress or two...LOL!! Then we bought snack stuff to take with us to VB!!

Then we swam and made pizza on the grill!! It was soo yummy!! Today, it is finally raining a bit. So we are just hanging out right now. Then this afternoon my girlfriend and I are going for pedi's we have a gift cards for doing PTA from our school so we are heading to a local spa to get them. I am hoping the sun will come out at some point!!
