It's weird... I can get 17 emails in one day telling me that someone has posted on our board, then go for DAYS without anything, but come here and find 12+ pages. Grrr.

I sincerely want to thank EVERYONE for all their efforts (from small hints to HUGE jobs) in making this trip special. The FE list is perfect and much appreciated!!!

Embarkation question: I read the article (Jeff??) posted about embarkation. Last time we sailed, we had to find a CM in the crowd who was passing out numbers for our boarding group. The article said this number would be on the paperwork given to us by the CM who gives us the KTTW card. Can anyone who's sailed recently tell me which is correct? Please and thank you.

Ok, I think after a bit of work today. I am finally ready to email out the FINAL LISTS OF THE FE!!

Here is why I left it at two groups. Several families requested to be together so instead of trying to rearrange the lists into three groups and I was worried about moving the wrong families from one group to the next!!
This is the breakdown for the FE's::

Group #1- A total of 26 families. So you really are only purchasing for 25 families since you will not be giving your own family a gift.

Group # 2- A total of 28 families. So you really are only purchasing for 27 families since you will not be giving your own family a gift.

I am sorry that Group #2 is a bit larger than Group #1 but I really did my very best to accommodate everyone's requests to be with specific families, etc. So this is how it worked out.

If anyone else wants to join in on the FE~~I am sorry to say that the FE IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED!! I can not rearrange the lists anymore. If your on a GTY cabin please email the entire group that you are in and notify them to update their lists. If names, etc. are incorrect please email your group yourself to ask them to make the necessary changes to their lists.

Thank you!! I am again sorry for all of the changes I really wanted to ensure that everyone was able to partake and have FUN!! I did not want any children to be upset that they could not participate!!

Beth - That photo from your cabana is STUNNING! It would make me want to book another one every time I cruised! I hope that one day one is available when our booking window opens up!!!

Kristin - All of the grand gatherings sound so fun! I keep thinking we have to do WDW for at least a couple of days! How long will you all be there for?

We are going to WDW till Sat. after we get off the cruise. So for 6 nights!!

Either day should work for us. And bringing a dish to share sounds like a great idea.

We just returned fro a 3 day cruise from Miami to the Bahamas on the Norwegian Sky.
I can't believe that there are 19 pages of posts already on the forum since my last visit.
It was real hard not to compare our beautiful Disney ships to the ship we were on.
Our balcony cabin was tiny. We had to climb onto the bed to get out to the balcony once the sofa bed was opened in the evenings. I missed the spacious DCL cabins and dual bathrooms.
The shower felt like a washing machine tub and the bathroom was uncomfortably small.
We missed the luxury spa H2O bar soap, shower gel, lotion and hair conditioner, that DCL provided. On the Norwegian all we got was a shower gel and shampoo, nothing else.
Our soda card cost nearly $22 per person for 3 days, otherwise the only cold drinks available was water or fresh ice tea . On DCL we misssed the unlimited soda beverages and hot drinks available 24hrs a day.
This was the first time in history that my DD14 did not go to the kid's/teen club. She said it looked boring and spent the whole 3 days with her dad and I When she's on the Disney ships we only see her at meal times.
We had to boat tender to their private island, with DCL you can just walk off the ship onto land, this saves alot of time.
The water float/tube cost $12 or $25 per person depending on what size you got, it's only $7.50 total on DCL for the 2 days B2B.
I looked at the dance floor and noticed they weren't as polished and gleaming like Disney's ships, but then alot of people were really having such a fun time partying this made up for all the deficits.

Oh and by the way I discovered the best tour yet in Nassau from Tripadvisor. Usually we don't do any shore excursions, but I found the Bahamas Segway and Beach Experience Tour. In Epcot your child has to be at least 16yrs. DD always wanted to try it out, she got her wish. With this group your child has to be 9yrs old or older. It's a pity that DCL doesn't offer this, but privately booked it's worth it. We had such a good time that DD definately wants to do this again in August

Couldn't find the facebook page. When I clicked the link, it took me straight to my fb profile.

I booked Jet Blue out of LaGuardia. I am staying at the Radisson by the port. I am sure I will see a few cruisers swimming in the pool there.

I haven't paid in full for this cruise yet. I think final payment is coming due next week.

I can never book Palo online, since I book for only one, so I have to wait until I get onboard.

Hope someone can tell me how to find the facebook page.

Thanks for posting this. I had heard about this tour but didn't realize the kids (ours will be 12 and 14) could participate. I'll be looking into this now!
