Happy Mothers Day to all you Mothers out there!
Just an FYI, there is also a public beach right next to the port in Nassau, we went there last Oct. and it was nice. There are people out renting chairs and there are bathrooms, but no food or drinks. You do pass a Mc.Donalds and a Burger King on the way there. Very close to the pier less than 5 min. walk. Nice mellow water no big waves like over at Cabbage Beach.

It's late afternoon here ;) ...
We had a lovely day with my MIL !!!

Laura...Where in Italy are you? Please give me famous cities so I will know LOL
My daughter and I were looking at Perillo tours last night, actually their tour to Italy isn't priced to bad considering you get many meals and guided tours.
I looked at Adventures by Disney but they didn't have Pompeii and she really wants to go to Pompeii.
Beautiful cake, looks quite yummy! Are you and DGH originally from Italy or did you move there from here for work?

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!

I just figured out that we moved....thanks Harry for starting our new thread. I have to work at keeping up with all the posting a little bit better and quit letting my job get in the way of reading on the DIS! ;)

Today I am working on laundry, did a long run (8.58 miles) and looking forward to a nice dinner grilled by my DH. I also have to do a bit of planning for work this afternoon and know that I want to spend some time looking at plans for our trip this summer.

DS is working on the fun countdown chain today and loves how fun each of the links are.

Hope everyone has a great day!
Jen

WOW:goodvibes I cant't believe it!!! Another thread. It's been some time since I have been on. Have some catching up to do.
Now that we are into double digits countdown for vacation I am getting really excited.
But first have to get through DD's prom, graduation, graduation party, wisdom teeth removal, college orientation and placement tests and then vacation... I am going to need it.
Happy Mother's Day!!!!!

Getting into the planning now--trying to work out transportation. I think we are going to have to rent 2 cars to get 6 ppl from MCO to VB to PC. We still need to figure out how to get from PC back to MCO.

For those of you who have already figured it out, if there are 4 of us going to the airport at the same time, what's the cost of a hired car/limo service? I know DCL transfers would be $140 and a rental looks like about $90. We may end up going in 2 groups of 2, but I'm trying to figure out options.

Checking in on the new thread...

Spent today at DS State Cup soccer game (they won!), sunny for most of the game, then the clouds moved in, but no rain.

Went to Outback for lunch (didn't feel like Rainforest today), catching up on Grey's Anatomy now for a quiet evening.

Hope all the moms here enjoyed their day!

We rented a 10 passenger van (there are 9 of us) from a service and are paying $140 from PC to MCO (plus gratuity).
