So I am looking at booking our day at Discovery Cove on/about Aug 8 and know it comes with a 14 day pass to Seaworld, plus you can add on Aquatica for $50/person - do you think that we would spend more then one day at Aquatica?

We are hoping to do at least one of the Disney waterparks post cruise as well...

Also possibly doing the Harry Potter stuff pre cruise.....

Ack! Any thoughts on the non disney stuff around Orlando?

We will stay at AKL post cruise for 3 nights and do a 2 day park pass.... is it worth it to add on the waterparks and more option?

I think we're down to having 1 room available on this ship (at least for a party of 4). I've checked off and on during the day, and sometimes I see a Cat V available, and other times I don't even see this cruise available. I assume when it's showing unavailable, then someone has the Cat V room on a 20 minute hold in the system.

Gosh this is going to be a full sailing if everyone sticks with this date!

You are right! When I put in 2 people, many categories come up, but when I put in 4, only the Cat V came up.
You know, you did all that wonderful work labeling the rooms, and I never even realized we were on the same cruise. I'm an idiot:rotfl:!

I could find some 4a and 4b 's but not with 4 of us.. I wonder if the kids club is full? It showed me these others with an 11 year old

Grills is a fun and good place. We ate there before our last place.

Laura, glad that you were able to get your keys replaced..!!:):thumbsup2

My TA did say that is almost a full ship. I just tried it for the four of us and it is not even coming up. When we switched our room to a conciereges room she said that we had booked the last conciereges rooms!!

Thanks to everyone for sharing all the different things you are doing before the cruise. I am going to be checking out several options. :thumbsup2

I love the idea of a DIS dinner the night before the cruise at port for people who want to join in. I know that we will NOT be at WDW before we go.

Our goal is to be at WDW after the cruise but with a new job it is so hard to say if I will be able to have the time off.

We will probably be trying to get free tickets to the Kennedy Space Center. If we can't get free tickets, I doubt we would go there. We also have to figure out if we will even be getting there more then a day early because my cousin is getting married the weekend before the cruise. My family would like me to be there but knew that this vacation had been planned for 2 years so if we miss it, everyone will understand.

I also would really love to consider some other things before the cruise - my DD would probably love the HP deal at Universal, I think Sea World could be fun, there are tons of different water park places and just many other things. If we had more then one or two days, I would love to consider something at the beach - either Vero or Daytona or anywhere I can enjoy the waves.

Sounds like our cruise is going to be a full one but I know we will all have a wonderful time!

Night Everyone!
Jen

Happy New Year Everyone!!

We are doing WDW/Universal before cruise, so unfortunately we won't be able to have dinner with you all before we set sail. We are looking foward to meeting with everyone, though!!

Our friend's are joining us (they booked in October--lucky they did---the ship is gonna be full!) and will be partaking in the FE. As things get closer, I will make sure that they get their name on our special website. Speaking of, I need to share some family info on the site :)

None from me, BW is my home too, and I LOVE it!!! I really have no desire to stay anywhere else. Maybe BLT, but that's the only one :).

Our favorites are OKW & BWV. I've heard great things about AKV, too and we may try for there this time around. DW really wants to stay at BCV; however, we have never been successful getting something there at 7 months or less (small number of rooms, etc).

SSR is my home, but we've only stayed there once! We love BWV, BCV (which we stayed before DVC,I think. It is hard to get a room there) and AKV. AKV is nice, especially the savannah view rooms.

We might go to Universal and maybe Seaworld before the cruise too! I guess we need to decide so I can get things booked! But we are still planning on being at the port the night before.

We will be at Disney from august 8-16 before the cruise. We are going with 2 families who adopted from China with us! It will be a great time for our girls. One family is going on the cruise with us! We are staying at our home resort, animal kingdom villas... jumbo house!

I'm going with my sister.... oh, and my kids.

Hi Gina!:wave2:

This is my brother. Hi David :wave2: Welcome to the Disboards and our cruise meet thread. It's a really nice group of people. David's got the two boys who will be 9 and 13 at sailing.

We got a lot of snow yesterday. Kids school was cancelled (could have gotten in an early dismissal, but you just never know). It's pretty snow clinging to all the tree branches and it's very white outside. Unfortunately there's ice underneath the roads which are making them slippery and we have to go to a soccer tournament (inside) for our son later.

Add us to the list, we are sailing with a very large group this time. We have 4 staterooms linked together including TinkerbellTwins who joined the list a little while ago.

My family is me Jeff (Pudo), DW, DD (18), DD (7). My younger daughter is good friends with TinkerbellTwins' daughters. They met on the 10/30/10 Halloween cruise which was a blast. Many of those DISers have rebooked on the Fantasy 08/25/2012 Eastern. My older daughter managed to get her best friend (also 18) to come along this time so Vibe club is going to be rocking. :)

The others traveling include two other staterooms/families. It looks like 5 adults and two children so a total of 17 cruisers linked together for main dining.

This will be our 9th DCL cruise, looking forward to sailing on the Dream. We would like to be part of the FE, the one on the Halloween cruise worked out really well.

So, we lost the dream home and now are looking for a new house in Bucks County, PA. His new job is in Princeton, NJ.

Florida to PA is a big adjustment, good luck with the house hunting. I'm a DBA that works in Princeton; let me know if your husband has any questions about the area.

Jeff
