I don't want it...I still think it should go your way! Seriously, it is going to be a LONG and SNOWY winter here this year. I know I live in Minnesota and that means long winters but I have a feeling that this year is going to be brutal.

Agreed, it's been many many years since we have seen a winter like this! And I did NOT miss them. We already have over 2/3 of our snow for the year. Heck, we didn't even get mail on Saturday! I can't believe MPLS and St. Paul closed schools today because they can't get the buses down the streets! Let's move to Florida!!

I am totally with you on moving to Florida! This has been a really hard year for me as it is with no job....and now all this snow....I am not so sure I am feeling the Minnesota LOVE right now.

This is why it makes me happy to know...only 73 DAYS UNTIL I AM AT WDW!!!

Just booked this cruise today. The kids are super excited to go on the dream - wish it was a different itinerary, however it will be nice wherever we go.

It will be my husband and I and our 11 yr old daughter and 8 yr old son.

Paul has not had school for 2 days because St. Paul has not been able to get the streets all plowed yet.

My kids have had schools both days though. They have been sad that their dad has had days off when they have had to go.

Hey Kristin...we got SUPER COOL mail today!!!! Everyone LOVED their cards and it was super fun! Tell Hope and Hanna how much we loved getting mail from them! We got their cards AND the family Christmas card. YEAH! I am going to mail the cards to the girls on Friday.

Froze our butts off today in NYC (really - they're terribly frozen )....

Minus the cold, it was a nice day though. We we short a child (it's not easy taking the high school kid out for this kind of stuff anymore ). Macy's Santa experience was top notch as usual... their Christmas windows are great as well. Spent too much time and money at American Girl. Couple of other stops and some delicious pizza filled out our day. The new Disney store is not like the old one. It was nice, but I wasn't blown away or anything.

Kids weren't dressed all that great for Santa today as DW points out!! It was more about layers and trying staying to warm today. Keira gave Santa such a tremendous hug - it was one of those moments in life that are remarkable.

Ugghhh... back to work tomorrow!

All of you from a snowy region can understand my frustration right now, I just went online and found out that school is closed today. Not from the foot of snow that we have on the ground, but for the inch and a half that we might get that isn't supposed to start until 10 or 11AM. Does anyone else think that's a little over cautious? Why not just let the kids get out early? Silly Marylanders!
