Hi everyone,

I haven't read through all the posts, but wanted to pop in and say we are booked for this cruise also. We are doing a back to back. This is the first leg of the back to back.

It will be myself and 14 year old daughter, unless we have someone join us.

Well we are back from our caravan vacation and all I can say was it was ok but not Disney

Glad we are under the 1 yr mark

I love the questions of the week

Wk2 - We are looking forard to Aquaduck and also double dipping as SB is our fave place

Wk3 - I would like to see the Little Mermaid adapted , I would have gone for Lion King but I find it sooooo sad and cry buckets when I see it

I have a question for everyone

What number cruise will this be for you?

For us it will be our 7th

Hope the hand surgery went ok

It is the first DCL cruise for our family...but overall it will be the 5th cruise for dh and I, 4th for dd and 1st for ds!

Helen - Welcome back! I am glad you had a good time and just think...it will not be too much longer until it is our Disney vacation!

It is fun to see how many times people have cruised. For us, this will be our 3rd cruise. We have been on the Wonder and the Magic once each.

Lucky #7 for hubby and I (once on Wonder, rest on Magic)

I knew our cruise was pretty booked, only verandahs rooms remaining, but my brother tried to add one person to his room and one to my parents and we can't do it because the lifeboat occupancy has been reached for the category.

We just recently booked and the "lowest" available cabin was a 4B.

Dh and I had originally decided that we would be fine w/ just an outside room, but we figured out this sailing was the most convenient for us and a verandah room was the only thing left.

Oh darn!

We are on deck 8 though which is nice... nothing but staterooms for two decks above and below us!

Hello all!!
I just wanted to pop in and say hi!! It's been pretty hectic around here. We moved DD (my baby) to AZ in July!
I still can't believe I no longer have kids in school and I am having a difficult time with it. So for those of you that are sending your kids back to school, enjoy this time you have with them because it goes by so fast.

This will be our 6th or 7th (depending on if we actually go on the Panama cruise).

Welcome to all the new cruisers!!!

This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise... the other was Mexican Riviera! Only our little man's first though. My husband and I are cruisers... and this will be our 10th cruise! This will our daughter's (she'll be 5 at cruise time) 3rd cruise! We enjoy all cruises and most cruise lines... it all depends on the itinerary for us!

So, here is our next question...

If you could recommend a Disney stage show for the Dream...what would you like to see?

Maybe a montage of Disney movies... I can't decide on just one! But I always really loved the Hunchback Show at Hollywood Studios before they removed the theater for the Lights, Motors Action Stunt Show.

If you could recommend a Disney stage show for the Dream...what would you like to see?

Can't wait to hear all the answers!

DS - Would love to have them bring back Hercules!
DD - Something with pirates (she really likes PoC)!
DH - Monsters, Inc.
Me - I would like to see something older...a classic. Maybe Peter Pan but not winding in other movies. Maybe Snow White with a big dragon. I also wouldn't mind a Princess and the Frog because I think the music could be wonderful.

I have caught up with all the answers and have them posted on our website! I love that everyone is sharing and answering the questions...kind of a fun way to pass the time each week.

Hi Everyone!! Hope all is well! Can you believe that we are in September already???!!!

The cruise will be here before we know it! In a few weeks, I will actually be able to book our DVC stay (11 month window). We are going to stay 3 or 4 nights pre-cruise at WDW....so fun!!

We had lightening, thunder and heavy rain here most of the night...it did not make for good sleeping but our lawns need it as well.

I hope you guys to not get hit too hard on the east coast. You have had some really interesting weather this year.

Hi everyone! I've been lurking alot; just not posting!

It's a 4th cruise for DH and me; 3rd for the kids. This will be our 3rd DCL. Our last 2 were 7 days and I have to admit I was a little bummed that there are no 7 day trips in 2011. But the group of cruisers we get to sail with will make up for it!! My parents and sister & family are on the Dream on April 16 so I can't wait to hear their first hand reports!!

Jen, I hadn't thought of one of the classics for the stage show. Hmmm...back to thinking....

We haven't felt any of the effects of the hurricane yet - we're too far north. But my cousins and extended families (27 of them!! ) rented a house on the Outer Banks this week - they are all being evacuated. My sister lives just outside of Ft Bragg so they are trying to make it to her house. I hope the storm takes an unexpected turn out to sea!!

School starts next Tuesday here. Tonight is DD's "locker night" at the middle school. She is super excited about it. This will be her first year at the middle school. DS, on the other hand, would like another month of summer! (in his defense, he worked hard this summer - 3 papers due for his upcoming classes, as well as working his first part time job, and ending with 3 weeks of double sessions of football practice...) He's enjoying his last week of lounging and floating in the pool! DS's first football game is Saturday.

It's wicked hot here today - another 90s scorcher.
