Wow, that's so nice of you. The most important one is the Exclusive Whale Encounter in Juneau. Also the same one but with the Glacier as well...just in case the other one gets booked up.
My DD's (18&14) really want to see the whales. We may be doing a zipline excursion as well but there's lots of those at different ports so I'm not as worried about that.
There's also the Alaska Nature & Wildlife Expedition in Skagway & the Historic Gold Mining & Panning adventure in Juneau.

Just curious as to how you plan on getting to the rainforest sanctuary? Car, taxi, other?

The reason I ask is that I'm trying to fit this in as well. We want to see the lumberjack show and the timings are just not working out!

Of course the 11:15 lumberjack show is sold out via their direct website. Disney is only offering late day shows through the ship.


There is an 8:00 AM show available, but I'm thinking there is no way we'll be off the boat in time to get there.

I was told they would be coming to get our group, just as they will be doing for the Disney booked groups. We are getting the same tour and benefits as we would if we were booking through Disney.

I did some looking around, and the only information I could find with regards to sending a box to the ship involved sending it to Port Canaveral--not much help to us. I didn't see a baggage limit, but somebody else may have--I'm a first-time cruiser, so I won't get the final details until June.

I don't have any info on shipping to the port, but if you are staying overnight in Vancouver, you could ship to your hotel. That's what we plan to do with our FE gifts. And if the first few cruisers don't have shipping info, one of us can call DCL.

As for your other question, I m not aware of any limits on the bags you check on the ship. In fact I usually check the bags at the port that I carried on the on the plane. Lots of folks drag big bags around on embarkation day, and chances are unless you have special circumstances, you don't need a lot of stuff for just a couple hours.

Thank you! We live in WA state so we are driving. I think Im going to bring a garment bag in addition to a suitcase. I might bring an extra carry on for the FE stuff....thank goodness we are not flying.

Also, Disney will send you stickers to put on your bags so that they will be directed to the correct stateroom. Don't worry if you have more bags than tags. The porters that collect your bags can write up extras.
