Hi there! This will be our first cruise, so I'm extremely excited. And trying to stay calm when I realize it's more than a year away. :earsboy:

Current pre-planning obsessions:
- figuring out the best flights; pondering booking hotel before/after/both in Vancouver
- formalwear princess:
- weird tips and trinkets to pack (coworker suggested an eye mask to sleep...) that a first time cruiser may miss.

Hi there! We will be on this cruise too. This is my 5th Disney cruise...2nd on the Wonder. I am travelling with my DH & DD(14). I cannot wait to sail again! Where are you from?

I'm so excited I'll be on this cruise too! It'll be my fiancé Cole's first cruise (though by then we'll be celebrating out first anniversary!!!!!) and my second - I sailed to the eastern Caribbean on The Fantasy the first season. I can't wait for our cruise on the Wonder; my sister has cruise on her twice and absolutely loves sailing on her!

Yeah so excited to find this thread.... we just signed up for this today!!! My dad stepmom 10 year old son and i are going. We are looking for a link to do the fish extender stuff??

If you want to join the FE, just PM me your names, ages of kids and room number and I'll start a list. I'll be separating/organizing them in groups of 11 (so you have 10 cabins to exchange with) closer the sailing date.

I'll be sailing with my DH, my daughter who will be 12 when we cruise and my son will be 11. We recently moved from Guelph,Ontario to Kelowna, British Columbia, so can actually drive to port now!

We'll be driving down from Calgary probably staying with my parents in Kelowna halfway then with my aunt and uncle in North Van before the cruise!

If we're keeping to small groups I think I will do the FE again. My first one started small and we ended up with about 20 staterooms and with two cabins for our family it was a lot of gifts to give out and I ended up with a lot of the gifts they gave to the kids - probably since I was in a room with my parents but I was 27 and the one on the boards... :confused3
I'll talk to the fiancé when I see him next (working opposite shifts means even living together we don't get to spend much time together) and see what he says. I already have some ideas though:thumbsup2

No, they will definitely stay small. Even with 10 cabins, that can easily be 30-40 people!

You have to have at least 10 posts to PM (which is now called a conversation). I'll add your name to the list for now and as we chat more I can get all the details later :yay:

Is there a FE101 post out there somewhere for newbies? Is it a family only thing? It's just the two of us so I'm not sure if that would be appropriate?

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join! This one won't have strict rules, you just deliver once per cruise, whenever you want (please make sure it's before noon the last full day to allow for the dreaded re-packing for home). You can either give a cabin gift and/or individual gifts. Gifts are often items to use on the cruise, items from where you are from, favourite travel items, Disney items, etc.

We are from Pennsylvania, so checking into the best way to get to Vancouver. Right now we are planning to fly to Seattle to spend a day then take the train to Vancouver (but that could change). I look forward to getting to know all of you. :)

Hello,
You are the closest to my family who will be enjoying the cruise too. Myself my (then 10) year old son, my father and stepmom are all going. If you wouldn't mind keep me posted on the Seattle train option.... We originally looked into taking a train from NH to Seattle, but the price was 3x what we were paying for the cruise... And 5 days long with lots of switching. Counting the days!
