Looking to book a last minute-ish (for us!) trip mid August. Noticed on the park calendar that US closes at 6:00 pm on August 13, which seems to be out of the ordinary with the rest of the month? Does anyone have any idea why? Just want to know if there is something going on we should consider before finalizing our dates. Thanks!

i've been checking the different sites including UO to answer your question.

nothing on the calendar of changes for what i can find.
only know what you do that the studios close at 6 pm august 13.


the only thing i can think of is there is a buy out for a private event.
some business buy the park out for an evening for private parties for their staff/company.
and it usualy are on saturdays when this happens.

People may decide not to do that park that day since it closes early.. But no, it usually doesn't make a huge difference. I've been several times when they've had night events. No biggie. I just go putt putt or something that night.

true but parks don't have late nights in september.

studios will close at 6pm due to the buy out.
