My youngest decided she wants to have a go at making a FE. This should be very interesting! I have never done a FE before.

My friends did the no-sew FE directions on the board and both looked great. I just bought mine from ebay. I guess the FE exchange will be pretty easy with so few people in this thread.

Does anyone know what are the perks to keeping the booking through DCL? I have a opportunity to transfer to a TA that is offering me more onboard credit.

i know once I transfer the booking DCL will not speak to me if I need anything changed, but is there anything I am not thinking of besides that?

The extra onboard credit sounds very tempting.

I don't know of any other than dealing directly with Disney than a middle man. Since we used DVC points, we plan to stay with Disney because it'd be easier if there were problems. But we had considered changing before for tempting offers.

I have one more week before I have to pay in full, I am going to ask around a bit more before I go and transfer the reservations.

I can't seem to get a complete answer from Disney on this.

So basically I have found out I just wont be able to discuss $ with Disney after I switch my reservations over. It is worth picking up the extra onboard credit.

I figure every little bit helps for such an expensive summer.

My friend and her family will be joining us. So there will now be another couple with a DS13 and DD11. She is a platinum Castaway Club member (more than 10 cruises) so she already booked Palo's for us for dinner and brunch.

I received a call from Disney asking if I wanted to book the comp Palo dinner for the cruise that I already paid in full. I said I would just wait until I was onboard to book it as I have no idea what day I would want to eat at Palo.

I am curious if you got the discount, let us know what they said.

We booked the 2nd night for dinner, since we're doing the brunch on the final day at sea.

How would you know what dinner you will be missing in the main dining room, or what main dining room you will be missing? Did you ask for a specific dining rotation?

We don't know. But I think the 3rd night is pirate night and we don't want to miss that.

Don't worry, I'll socialize online enough for the both of our families. It is looking like a small FE group. If anyone is interested, just send me a PM with your info: email, names (if comfortable), ages (for kids), and room number (otherwise you get nuttin'.) Then I'll email everyone a list. I figure we can all just deliver when we have the time, rather than setting up delivery dates.
