the aquarium is nice. but could be a bit crowded, in the morning time, due to school field trips & such. we just went recently...there's several "touch" tanks...lots of viewing area. there's also a bird place, where you can purchase food, and have the birds land on you. (might be a bit scary for little ones...but it's neat!)

how about a 2nd dis meet, at the suite Suzy is at? just a thought? we're only at cat 6...you can order those cheese platter things from room service? again, just a thought...

we're almost there guys!!!

Wish we could have gotten a category one, we were waitlisted since before it went on sail but could never get it.

there's Susy (bridegirl) who's offering the cat 2 room, traveling w/a large group, i think...then, there's Susie (me, rsjj), who's offering you the eye patches, just family of 4. 2 Susies...spelled differently. i know what you mean about getting everyone's names down. i'm still having a bit of trouble, but for the most part, i think i've got it...(but like i've mentioned before, all need to bare w/me if i refer back to codenames!)

The category 2 is actually my mom's room, but she would love to meet everyone - she and her husband are very social!

I am in a category 3 (with my family), adjoing to my older sister's category three (with her family). As I remember from last time, we had alot of living room space with the two category 3's open together. Which would be better?

Now I'm thinking the that 2 3's have more living room space than the 2? Anybody know for sure?

Also, whats a good time for a meet? Maybe the first day? Or is that too hectic? The first night?

Hi all - I am back from LA - my father has been laid to rest (it was a beautiful service) and my 3 sisters are on their way back home to Iowa.

My MM luggage arrived so i can "really start packing" now!!! Although i need to do some laundry with that Sunwash first...

Susy - thank you for the offer of a DIS meet in your stateroom - how awesome that will be (can I take some photos??)!!!

Talked to those sisters of mine about taking a big 'family' cruise in 2007....Ryan & I are ready to book another one!!!! They all thought it was a great idea so i may be back on board within two years!!! Well actually ryan & i will be - with or w/o DSIS' and families....

Just TWO MORE WEEKS............

I have been sorting out my packing, paperwork and going over the cruise checklist. Soooo many things to do and those last minute shopping.....I do need this vacation. Disney Magic....take me away

YES - and it will be a HAPPY trip to LA; also I'll be flying into LA rather than driving UGGHHHHHH....i am thankful for those 'amber alerts' on hwy 5 though - saved me a lot of time of just sitting in a car while they had the grapevine closed!!!

I haven't seen any new navigators posted anywhere but i'd like to see them too so i've been surfing other cruise reports as well as some other sites....will let you know if i find anything....

Ok, Ive officially started packing now. I think I know what outfits everyone (well, the kids and I, DH takes care of himself) is wearing on each night.

I tried my kids suits from last year on them and both are a little small, but they can squeak by for a few hours in them, LOL!

I'm getting all the important papers together now and hope to start filling out the docs and stuff soon.

THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING!!!! Yes, it has finally hit me and I'm freaking out. Has anyone checked out the 15 day forecast? I have been watching for Anaheim since thats where we will be. For those going to DL first, it looks good...sunny and warm.

it's been really hot here!!

i've started to put the clothes for our boys in a pile. and am doing laundry along the way! and i have my list of clothes to pack...am trying to only wear flip flops...and bring the least # of shoes as possible. i don't like packing shoes! only one fancy shoes, for palo/dinner...

i've filled out our docs. was doing it the other night, as i was watching tv.

we've got 2 weeks...less, actually!

ROFL! I know what you mean about the shoes. We went on a cruise last year and I had a whole bag full off shoes. It's crazy how many you really need, especially for a family.
My kids will each have 4 pairs, I will have 6 (I know )and DH will probably have 4 or 5. Thats 18-19 pairs of shoes!!!

wow, that's a lot! and they are SO bulky!!! they just don't fit right in suitcases! DSs will have 2 (fancy shoes, & flip flops) plus they'd be wearing their sneakers, so that doesn't really "count"...DH...2 same as DSs. me...i think 3...(2 flip flops, and one fancy shoes) i think i need tennis shoes, but really don't want to pack that. so i've "readjusting" my list on my mind, to fit my shoes...i figure if i finish my DSs packing, i can focus on me.
