I'm confused - (nothing new). Does anyone know what time we set sail? I thought it was 5:00 (the usual time) but our docs say 4:00.

Thank you all so very much for the thoughts and prayers!!! They are so appreciated. I know my Dad is in a better place  and suffers no longer.

Hi Nancy, i just emailed another CM Consultant who was on this cruise a wk or so ago, so see if her docs said 4 or 5, and what time they actually left. Our docs say 4 as well....

our docs say 4 as well! i'm sure we'd all be on the ship by 3...i'm thinking...

i couldn't find those mini album things...still am looking for them. maybe will stop by target, or another big lots. if not, the idea is being scratched!

i know some of you have started packing. i've started making a list & "visualizing" the various outfits, (for our DSs) so i have an idea what to pack for them. have been doing laundry non-stop all day!

will talk to you all soon! we're almost there!!!!!!

Susie :flower:

Hi Everyone

Brenda-I am so sorry to hear about your father.

I received my docs today :cool1:

Janae

Arlene - How many glow in the dark necklaces should I purchase?
Is 50 enouph. They come 50 in a case.

Would everyone like to wear the (lime green) glow in the dark necklaces on pirate night? I wanted to purchase them for everyone to wear on the same night. Let me know if that's not a good idea and I'll think of something else to purchase for our gift bags :) Hmmm maybe keychains.

Have a great day !!!

Hi Janae:

My DN and I think the glow in the dark necklace would be AWESOME for pirate night. pirate: Whatever you feel comfortable in bringing. 50 sounds about right - say average 2-3 kids per family. All contributions to the gift bags will be greatly appreciated. :love2:
I have 20 'GREEN" gift bags and Cecilia helped put together 20 ziploc bags of "GREEN" candy goodies. :bounce:
BTW - Cecilia is sooooo excited and looking forward to meeting Sydney on the ship.

Hasta la bye bye :wave2:

Well, I'm back...still not unpack, and still not packed, LOL! I cant believe we go again in 2 more weeks! Yikes! I got my Disneyland documents today. What a great way to relieve post trip depression. :goodvibes

Lets see...

Randall, I got the maps for you. I will keep them in my bag so I wont forget to pack them.

I'm not sure if we will make it to the pool right at 1:00. I know we will all want to eat and then I want to try to change our dining assignment, but we will try to be there at some point. If not, definitely at the Promenade Lounge at 3:00.

And I forget who asked but yes, DH and I did the rasul(is that what its called now?) on our first Disney Cruise. Back then it was called the Surial Mud bath. It's definitely an experience. ;)

And most importantly, Brenda I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Katie - thank you so much!!! All of our new DIS friends have been so wonderful and we are so looking forward to meeting all of you for REAL!!!

If i had to find one positive from this funeral - it's that my 3 sisters are all making the trip out here from Iowa - i haven't seen two of them in 3 maybe 4 years now, and the other 2.5 years.

Welcome back Katie! :wave2:

I don't remember who asked before about bringing a laptop but I see on the live cruise thread that some people are getting their laptops to work with wifi. Maybe worth a try :confused3 .

They also said that they set sail around 5:20 so I guess our docs are wrong and departure is at 5:00.

hi Nancy....you were up early (or late)...thanks for the info on the laptop - it was me who had asked....i had thought i'd bring it mostly to download my photos....but i'm almost afraid if it's there - i might WORK.....NO WAY!!!!! So thinking of just getting a larger flash card to take my 1000+ photos! :teeth:

Brenda - I also noticed in another thread that they are charging $25 for 33 minutes of WiFi and it is not available in your stateroom - just in main areas of the ship.

I was up early :). Just can't seem to sleep anymore. I wake up around 5:00 am and can't get back to sleep. I hope that changes on the ship otherwise I'll be waking up around 2:00 am. :scared1:

Well I get up every day at 3 am M-F so if you end up not sleeping in on the ship; you'll find me out roaming the fitness center if it's open....

Brenda, i see!)

did you see the launch? pretty neat!

was wondering...which one of you will be doing the live thread on our cruise???!! hee hee...

Nancy, yeah, i read about wifi on another thread too. pretty cool. :flower:

Good morning Susy,
missed the launch :sad2:
that's what i get for going to the office soooo early....

Hi group - just got an email from another Creative Memories consultant who was on the cruise two wks ago, and she highly suggests being on deck 10 for both events, and for pirate night - they shoot the fireworks from the side of the ship above the buffet....

thanx for the info. good to know! another good place for the sail-away party is right by that bar that faces the goofy pool. (sorry, having a senior moment here, can't quite recall the name of the bar) we happen to stand there last time, and thought it was a good place, cuz they had these "bench" type seating around the wall, and we were able to stand on that, and our DSs were able to view the stage a lot better! and there's noone behiind you, cuz there's a plexi-glass separation thing. maybe this is a good spot for families w/little ones? although if you're up at deck 10, you would be able to see the stage & more, i suppose! :flower:
