I'm sure it is. We had our meeting their last cruise but it was after lifeboat drill. It was a little rushed getting to sailaway but not rushed enough to not have a quick one.

Arlene - this list is awesome - thank you for putting it all together!!! Sure hope everyone can make the 3pm mtg at promenade (where is that by that way? - i've checked the deck layouts but not really finding it)...duh - i'm a blonde! :rotfl:
29 days....29 days...29 days...29 days....

Hi Brenda: You are so kind. Well, I get the same experience --- my is those time to time senior moments :rotfl: That's why I made the welcome board door sign so I know where our room is at as well as the good places to go and eat. :rotfl2: I believe it is on deck 3 - check out our map again.

Imagine that we are now counting days instead of months :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

More documents are coming in. Congrats! :cool1: ;)

To answer the questions I booked through DCL, but then transferred to Dreams Unlimited.

As to how they come, I had thought it was Fed Ex and you needed to be home, however like I said, mine were waiting for me in my door when I got home last night. DH found them yelled to me "We have a box from DCL" and I went to town ripping it open. I never even looked how it came. Of course the box went out in the trash this morning, so I cant check.

Welcome Courtney!!! Im glad you joined us...and that we have another 5 yo cruising with us. :) I too am shy...until I get to know everyone...or until the Bahama Mamas start flowing. ;) :cool1:

Hello everyone. Just waiting for my doc also. Welcome Courtney. My daughter Carolyn is also 5 and my son is 7 Matthew. I have asked my kids if they want to go to the Oceaneers Club. My son always says he just wants to walk around with us. He is a little shy to start. However since this time his sister will be able to go to the club and be in the same age group I think he will be better about checking in. We always bring both of them to the dinners with us. He loves to order the food. Does anybody else have the late seating (8:30)???

Let me see these are the names I am starting to remember Nancy, Susie, Arlene, Brenda, Courtney, Katie and Becky. I feel sort of strage I am the only dad here on the chat room. My wife thinks I am nuts. Oh well you gotta have one in the family.

We had late seating, but were waitlisted for first. I think I do want late though.

In my documents it said Main Seating. You would think after 2 Disney cruises I would know this, but which one is "main"? I always call them early or late. :confused3 :teeth:

As for the kids clubs, on our first Disney Cruise, my oldest was 3 1/2 and he refused to go to the clubs. He didnt go once. I didnt sign my then 8 month old up for Flounders either. Last year we went on another cruise(NCL) and both kids went to the clubs a few times and were ok with it. I have shown Cam(8) the kids Navigators for this cruise and OMG has he changed! He wants to do every activity. I should count my blessings but Im already feeling guilty that we will never see him, LOL!

We have 8:30 dinner. :p hubby can't wait for the Lobster to come to his spot. :earboy2: I say yuck. hehehahha as he says I am the boring eater. Oh well :confused3 I am so jelous you are all getting your docs. I want to do the doc dance too!!!!! :wizard: pixie dust our way.
TTFN

Here's to late seating :drinking:

We are glad to have you in our group drlum aka DocDisney who is really Randall. :earsboy: The more the merrier :grouphug:

Becky - we are in the same boat (no pun intended) Still waiting to hear from my TA about my docs. :rolleyes1 I WANT MY DOCS - Congrats to Katie, Brenda, and Susie. Did I miss anyone??? :dancer: This docs dance is for you :goodvibes

This thread is HOT - HOT - HOT!!!! Can't keep up with my reading and typing.

I guess I should have written a better introduction when I first signed up for the DIS ::MickeyMo . I am completely new to DIS and forums and posting, etc. Well, My name is Courtney  . I am a 24 year old MHA (master of health administration) student at the University of Southern California. I am a S. Cal local so I was extrmely excited to see the DCL was coming to LA. I will be cruising with my DS5, Evan and my DM Denise. I look forward to meeting you all. I have been so engrossed in all of the reading and planning the trip that I haven't been able to post to the boards. Not to mention that I am a little shy.

Great door decor Alohatee. Any suggestions for me?

Hi Courtney: Glad to have you cruising with us......thanks for the compliment! What does your son Evan like? I was planning to do door signs for each day and highlighting the main event such the Captain's Gala, Pirates' Night, etc....as a reminder for Cecilia and I. So that we do not get carried away doing other things and let time slip by and miss the main events :hourglass I am a newbie too with cruising, DIS boards so we both can learn from each other here.

we have the 8:30 dinner seating - or LATE as stated on our docs!!

Hello Everyone and Welcome to our new friends who will be joining us on the cruise.

I've been a little busy with school so I haven't had the time to post any messages. I am still reading what all of you wrote. If there were any questions for me to answer I will respond soon as I'm done reading.

I am so excited. My friend just came back and said she had a great time.
Her group did a gift exchange which she said was fun. They also had a party in someones suite and she said that was the best. The suites are beautful and huge. They all made plans to meet in Las Vegas next year. What a great group. We talked for at least 2 hours.

Everyone in her group wore lime green shirts about 50 were in her group or more. Whose all going to wear lime green shirts say. "I". Need to know so I can go shopping :)

Have a great day!!!

Oh she said 70's night was fun and she wish she had bought 70's clothing.

I bought DIS t-shirts for myself, DH and DS. We will be wearing them on embarcation (?) day. No sure if that is how you spell it (I haven't woken up yet).

i have something that's pretty close to 'lime green' as i can get....but gotta know - where did this color come from???? :teeth:

and 70's night??? hadn't heard about that - omg - haven't we been there - done that - threw it all away - guess i'm going to have to study Donna & Jackie's clothes a bit more from that 70;s show...not dressing up or wearing clothes like Kitty!!! hahaha :rotfl2:

Goodmorning everyone. I am staying at a San Francisco hotel with free internet access for the weekend with my wife and daughter. Got up early and was going to walk around Union square but found this free internet computer site and just had to see if anyone wrote since yesterday.

We are having my daughters 5th birthday party at build a bear workshop at the Cannery near Fisherman's wharf today. We were just planning on a weekend escape but my wife wanted to have a birthday party with just my daughter. My son is not here because he is attending Punahou summer school in Hawaii. He has only one more week to go. He gets to spend his 7th birthday with Grandma and Aunty in Hawaii. So since my daughter and son's birthdays are so close she has never had a solo birthday party. So this is it.

We have late seating. After reading some of the reviews we decided to keep late seating and not wait list early seating. This way we can see the shows early in the evening and don't have to rush to dinner after the port days. Also I figure it is vacation. So we should stay up really late at night and play. Then get up really late in the morning and have a late breakfast / early lunch.

Question? Do you hang the door sign on the outside of your door? Arlene are you really making different signs for each day. Wow I thought I had a lot of free time. Actually I shouldn't be spending so much time on this chat room but oh well.

Arlene and Cecilia

Thanks for letting my family join you and Mazatlan Frank. Looks like we will be doing the city tour with you in the afternoon. I was looking for a tour guide and thanks to this web site found Mazatlan Frank.

We did a similar tour with a guide called Godfrey in St. Thomas and liked being to tour the island and see the sites for less money and with a local.

Are you doing the horseback riding in the morning???
