Jeff

Looks like everyone else is on their way, we will be leaving soon. I'll see you tomorrow @ 3:00pm at the Promenade Lounge Deck 3...Can't wait to meet you and your family.

Mary-Ellen

Thanks I'll give Laura a hug for you tomorrow.
Beckie

Beckie - Thanks. We are much less panicked now as airport lines are down to 30 minutes or less. Still an early morning for us tomorrow but that just means we get to the ship early too. I'm finishing up some work for my clients today and then I'm ready to roll with our 3:30 a.m. wakeup call. Did most of the packing last night..just need to finish up a few things today. Looking forward to meeting all on Saturday.

Hi Fellow Cruisers. As our voyage winds down I wanted to say thanks to all of you who were so great in helping us to prepare and to say what a pleasure it was to meet many of you. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet everyone. The magnets were great and I'm so glad I brought into my room the first two because the last one (the Pirate night one) was stolen on Pirate night. That was a bummer. Check out my trip report filed under that section. I have been writing it semi-live while on the ship.

All the best
jeff

I hope everybody else had safe travels back home after the cruise. I was so sad when I had to leave the ship this morning: I've never felt like this before at the end of a vacation.

Our family wanted to say a special thanks to Beckie and Marco for getting the cruise off to a great start, thank you Louise for the Pirate night magnets and thanks to everybody else we met from the DISBoard on the ship. While this was our first cruise, knowing people before the ship sailed really made us feel at home and amongst friends all week long.

Pam, Tom we had so much fun with you all week at dinner. It was very funny to run into you at the airport Disney store. We'll see you in April. :thumbsup2

Donna, Dan - Debbie wanted to thank you again for the sinus medicine. The last couple of days would have been miserable without your help.

I look forward to reading more of the posts about our great cruise. It's hard to imagine a week being more perfect, but we'll try to recapture the magic of it all in just 1 year, 1 month and 4 days when we sail on the Wonder for 4 days.

Ciao for now...

Bob

We are home and back to reality also! It was a wonderful wonderful time. :thumbsup2

We enjoyed meeting all of you and seeing you all around the ship and at port!

Thanks to Beckie and Laura/Marco for all of their wonderful things they did for us. It was so nice to walk around and see the green wristbands! And I saved everything for my scrapbook! :teeth:

My camera was acting up all week long and the group DIS shot I took on PIrate night didnt work but here are a few.....

thanks to everyone for making our cruise even more Magical!

(and does anyone besides me feel like they are moving once in a while?) I never got sick on the boat but it's making me a little ill now! LOL!

maybe it's just the pain of being off of the ship? :teeth: :rotfl:

Ciao for Now.......;)

We also arrived home yesterday and I can tell you right now I miss the Magic.

When we took the shuttle back to the Radisson, the lobby was full of DIS'ers ready to go to the port. (sniff-sniff) we spent a few minutes with Donna, Jose and Tony. They we going to spend an extra night at Cape Canaveral and fly home today.

I'm so glad most of us were able to visit and get to know each other...I loved all the surprize door magnets, each time we returned to our stateroom there seemed to be another surprize waiting.

It was so hard saying good-by to Laura and Marco, while it isn't good to wish a year away waiting to see friends again I can't wait until next August when they return to the States. Just wish me luck that Terry and I will be able to visit Europe next summer.

I'm off to read Jeff's report over on the trip report thread.

Donna

It's called getting your land legs back....I leave my patch on for a few days so I won't feel the ground swaying.

Ciao for now

NEW SURVEY

How many of us rebooked a Cruise while on board?

If you did please post which cruise and the dates you'll be sailing. :thumbsup2

Terry and I booked a 7-night Eastern Cruise for October 27, 2007 not sure if we will keep the dates but we received the on board booking discount. We may do the 4-day Wonder with Laura and Marco August 5th 2007, but if we are able to go on our European Trip...No cruise for us.

Ciao for now
Beckie

No rebooking for us! We had no idea of dates plus that whole deposit needed thing...;)

I never got sick on the boat...but this is killing me! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good Morning Everyone!

We finally stepped into our house at 1:30am today.

That was a truly magical vacation, and one our family will never forget. I felt a little rushed when we left the ship and I'm so sorry that we didn't get to say good-bye to everyone :sad1: . I loved meeting all of you and seeing you throughout the week.

Beckie, thank you for everything you've done. You really set the tone for this vacation and pumped us up before we got there. Everyone who put magnets on our door, thank you. It was a great surprise to see them on our door and the boys loved them.

Marco, I never did find all those hidden mickeys :) . Did anyone??

Bob, Deb, Rachel and Bryce - Thanks for the great dinner memories. We had a wonderful time meeting you and I only wish we remembered to have pictures taken with you :guilty: .

Tia/Donna, Jose and Tony - Had great fun with you!! Wish the trip could have lasted longer.

Firstmickey/Donna, Dan, Kaitlyn and Kevin - Wish we had spent more time with you. It was funny bumping into you during the excursions and around the ship. Weird since we were only a couple staterooms away that we didn't see you more.

Everyone - We HAVE to do this again :yay: :yay: :yay: !! We didn't re-book on the ship, although I wanted too :teeth: . Tom and I will have to DIScuss it a little more, and then I'll finally convince him :rotfl2: .

Please keep in touch. Bob, we do hope to see you in April. Tell Bryce to be careful on those elevators. I don't think I'll ever get in one again without thinking about him :lmao:

Ciao for now...

Pam

We booked a 4 day cruise for Sept 23rd 2007. I really wanted to do another 7 day, but w/ the ships doing the Med cruises in the summer, we decided to do the shorter cruise for our anniversary. Unfortunately, Rachel will have to miss it because of school, but Bryce will come along and ride the elevators for 4 days. :rotfl2:

We figure we'll spend that Thurs-Sun/Mon afterwards at the parks after the cruise. We'll have to have Rachel be "sick" that Friday so she can join us at the parks afterward.

Bob, I would like you to know that from now on....whenever I have a Mojito (my new favorite drink) it will make me think of you! Thanking you for introducing me to those! :teeth: :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Ciao for now.....;)

(don't you just love saying that?) :teeth:

Hello! We made it back about 1pm today. Picked up Skipper :dogdance: and Chloe :cat: Have been unpacking since. We had a great time and we really enjoyed meeting everyone. The week flew by! We did not rebook onboard since we never know what sort of vacation plans the Navy may have in store for DH. I am sure we will be back at some point next year. I can't wait to download the pics, who knows maybe I will learn how to post some of them! -Donna

I would be happy to send another one along to you if you want, that goes for any of you that want another, or are missing the original. PM me with your address and I can get one sent out.

Thanks again to Beckie and Terry, who personally I want to adopt as my American family. Beckie went to so much effort for us Disers. Ben was super happy to get lots of kissess and hugs from some new women!!! Laura was a big hit too with him!

Haven't tried the recovery program yet Marco. Thanks to all of you who offered help and sympathy when my camera went up the spout! Thank heavens for Shutters, I managed to get some birthday photo's of Ben. The hunky tall Bosnian (?) chap was particularly helpful (I even got some free photos, ssshhh, don't tell!)

I feel I missed a lot of you, it was a bit of a whirl with Ben in tow!

I have no wobbly feeling at all after the ship, neither does Tim, who had it for a couple of months after our first DCL trip. In fact we didn't really notice the boat rocking much at all this trip...and no patches for us either. Must be the sea-fairing British in us.

Can't believe it's all over...sniff.

Oh well back to the laundry.....

GRUMP for now

Well we all made it back a little late but safe and sound. From all of us John, Barbara, Alex and John III we wanted to thank everyone in particular Laura and Marco but everyone else too that answere questions, shared there time, left Anniversary cards, etc, etc that was one of the highlights of the trip for all of us. The kids raced back to the door each time we went back to see if it changed.
To be really honest the kids and Barb absolutely loved the trip and are ready to go again. I on the other hand liked it but really thought I had to be somewhere , or was late, or had to go, or missed something, etc etc too scheduled for me and we still missed most of what we signed up for. Didnt do Palo becasue it was same night as Lobster night and Johnny really wanted to go to that so we didn't want him to miss it. Just looking for kids , getting ready for early show, late dinner seemed like half the day or more was gone all the time.
The ship and crew were wondrful no doubt about that. I thought the food was OK not stunning or 5 star.
Don't care if I ever see Grand Cayman or Cozumel again. If we ever did another it would definetly be Eastern or souther carib.
Just some of my thoughts I know some people love the structure and it was our choice on what to do. But the Did board and Dis friends really were great and a huge help. Thank you all very much. John (ZZZZJOHNZZZZ)

OK, so when can we do another cruise? I wish it were next week! I still haven't finished the laundry but I am getting there. Glad to see Laura and Marco made it back safely. School starts on Monday so we have been getting the last minute school items. Tony talks non-stop about the cruise and what fun it was and of course wants to know when we can go back. Something seems to have happened to my clothes on the way home....they all shrunk! Must be all the humidity, and the creme brulee!!
Gotta work on getting them to fit. -Donna
