August 12, 2006-DIS DREAMS DO COME TRUE-Magical Western Cruise

Donna - if your kids want to snorkel and see the stingrays Capt Marvins in Grand Cayman is a great excursion. We did this 2 years ago and I believe we went to the stingray area first and then we went to 2 different reefs to snorkel. The water was crystal clear and at the second stop the guys even got off the boat and got two eels to come out that stay in that area. Capt Marvins is easy to get to and I would highly recommend them.

Just trying to give a bump back up to the first page.

Hope everyone had a great day!

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc We just paid in full our cruise !!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc and I'm looking into DCL offerings at SPA !!!! and prebooking of shore excursions and such !
 They have added a few VILLAS (?) or treatments for couples - but I'm dreaming of "something" by myself --- as DGH will NEVER EVER enter a SPA !!!!!
:bounce: SO many massages to choose from !!! :bounce:
Have someone of you tried one of their massages before ??

GOOOOOOOOOD FRIDAY MORNING(OR AFTERNOON) EVERYONE!

I am trying to get everything figured out for this cruise today. I think I can make my reservations and book excursions next weekend so I have to know what we are doing.

Hope everyone has a great day.

I love to get massages! I usually get at least one every time we cruise. We have done the cabana massage and they are great! The only thing we don't like about it, is it takes time away from Castaway Cay. And they do use oil on you so you have to be careful in the sun afterwards.

We have also done the "Elmis Absolute Face & Body"(don't know if they still have this or if that is still the name), but it is a facial and massage. We did it as a couple and it was really nice.

I think Rich and I are going to try one of the new spa villas this time. They look and sound wonderful.

Thank you for the ... GOOD AFTERNOON !!!!
It is sunny and ... at last WARM here !!!

I'll try a facial and massage , I guess !!! Need to find out how it is called !!
Do you know if you have to ask for a "female" for your massage ... or maybe all of the SPA people are "female" ?

Ciao , Laura

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a while.

I need to decide on Capt. Marvins or Native Way for the “Rays, Reef, and Rum Point" for Grand Cayman. :confused3 I'm still not sure which company to use but am leaning toward Native Way because of smaller groups, and a visit to Rum Point for lunch.

Love Marco's vest and tie, he will out-shine me on Formal Night.

I'm going to pass on the massage this cruise but I'll go to the Spa with you, I'll just wait for you in the Tropical Rain Forest.

I have read great reviews on the Aroma Stone Therapy.

Not long for bookings now! We have a WDW trip in October, and our ADR dates open up for that soon too, but before the cruise ones do, so it's all really confusing. I'm booking stuff for a trip that is after the first one! My poor DH is not sure what is going on, he's like "can't we wait until we've done the cruise first" Little Miss Over-planner me is "NO!" So this week is going to be fun. I like that you can book the cruise stuff online, I wish it was possible for them to do that for WDW (I imagine it would be a computer nightmare from a logistical standpoint)

Hi Laura,

I think I do finally have it figured out. We decided to try and relax on this cruise so we are not going to do a lot of excursions. We are thinking about the White Knuckle Thrill Boat excursion in Key West. I did not see it listed on the excursions for KW but saw it on a previous Navigator and it looks like a lot of fun. In GC and Cozumel we are just going to go to the beach for the day. And at CC the only thing I am going to book is the Stingray adventure. Hopefully, that will work out for everyone. Some in our group might do other things but the majority of us are just going the relaxing route.

Louise - I know what you mean. We have two cruises booked and I 'll be talking to my DH about things for one cruise and then I will switch gears and he will get this really confused look on his face and then I have to tell him which cruise we are talking about. It gets pretty funny sometimes. Like you the over planner in me has to get things straight now! :teeth:
