Hi I just made my plane reservations for August 12-19, 2006 and was wondering how crowded the parks are at this time? We usually visit teh week before Christmas and like the colder weather. Have gone was in July and was rather crowded and of course HOT! Would appreciate your comments and thoughts. Thanks..

We went almost at that exact time last year. The crowds were very manageable. With using Fast Passes, our longest wait time was 15 minutes, and even that was rare. The heat was killer, though! Bring lots of frozen water bottles in with you. We carried ours in a golf cooler and it was the smartest thing we could have done!

we will be there the sametime as you are. With the free dining offer this year, I expect the parks to be busier than usual.

You do know about the free dining right? Since you are coming in a day earlier than it starts, I just wanted to make sure for your sake that you did.

Yes, I just opened an e-mail regarding on offer that included the dining plan. We have a timeshare we always use in Orlando and are trying to decide what would be our best option. The timeshare plus cost of food and of course tickets. The only bad part is we are used to the two/three bedroom we usually get with our timeshare exchange. Again, please share your opinions with me. Hope everyone is having a great weekend! We are off to our Easter vacation in Cancun this coming Friday, and yet palnning our August vacation at the same time. Lots to do..Liza
