Aug 24 - 31st!

We have booked out first trip to Disney from 24 - 31 August. We are flying Sunwing and are staying at the POFQ - has anyone been at this time - are the US schools back ?

Whether schools are back varies State to State but most in Florida are. They do still come for weekends tho and the last weekend in August is very busy as they arrive from within Florida for the last hurrah of Labour Day. I am usually there during the last week of August. It will be busy but you will still have a blast! Expect HOT HOT HOT and lines for most things. Break up the day by heading back to the Resort for an afternoon swim..then go at it again as the sun goes down

we're on the same flights, it's going to be tough to be at the airport by 5 and then deal with heat and kids until bedtime.

My family and I are going to be there from the 18th - 30th and while the schools in Florida should be open by then, August 24th is when free dining begins. So I would think the restaurants in the parks and various Resorts will be busy.

We are going down for August 29 to Sept 4. We will leave our town (a few minutes away from the border) and drive with 4 kids (again) down to Orlando with two night stops on the way. Getting excited tommorow in 2 months we are gone
