Well, we have all of our dress clothes ready to go, they are all hanging up in the garment bag. We are now working on getting our t-shirts and shorts together, but they won't get packed until later in the week. Our upcoming vacation seems more real now!!!

My DD came running in the house this afternoon yelling "Mom, Mom, look, look, look what we got"
Can anyone guess what she had in her hand? Yep, it was a postcard from Mickey telling us to start packing. Boy that Mickey sure is great, isn't he? Sending us all postcards to get us even more excited. Can't wait to see him in two weeks! Thanks-again!!

I just saw this post from someone on the Magic this week. Looks like we may be getting a new Castaway Club gift...

"The CC gift is a very nice navy blue blanket that shows the new Carribean islands and says something like "2004 Inaugaral Cruise". "

This person is posting on the 10/2/2004 Cruise Meet thread so it's a little off the beaten path. I posted that we'd love to hear what's new for the San Juan itinerary. Hopefully they'll keep posting...

We're back from our Hurricane adventure in Cape Hatteras! Time to catch up on work so we can get on our way again next week.

The kids were thrilled to find a postcard from Mickey in our mail pile when we got home!

Update on Brittanys softball team:

They lost the first game 13-6, so they played again last night and won 18-6. So they play again tonight. There are 4 teams left. Win tonight, play tomorrow, win tomorrow play Thursday. lose tonight or tomorrow, DONE!

Very happy for them. my Dh and I are sommuting 2 hours each way because we both have to work so this is going to be an exhausting couple of days.

Well worth it to see the girls so happy and playing well!!

Well 10 days. We are so excited. Last night I couldn't sleep so I finished my book "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" by James Patterson. Good book. I filled out some of the paperwork for the cruise.

I also have one of my son's packed.

Shygirl - I have "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" sitting on my night stand. I was going to start it the other day but chose another book because I know I will cry when I read it. The only problem was that I read " The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold and I cried though the whole book anyway. Have you read this book? Very good. I'm going to start "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" tonight.

We are going on a cruise next week. Who likes the way that sounds??? I do, I do!!!!!!

I read "The Lovely Bones" and "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" and cried through both. Not exactly "light" summer reading but they were both very good books. Right now I have a whole collections of old Danielle Steel books my aunt gave me that I will attempt to read on vacation. Nice easy reading.........

Thanks for all the "cheering"! She plays at 7:30 tonight. I will let you know tomorrow how they do.

Her cheerleading coach called yeasterday because Brittany wasn't at practice for conditioning. I told her "She has been at 4 night a week softball practice since mid-June" Her coach goes "well, she's well-conditioned then" LOL She will miss this weeks practice and will be there next MOn, Tues, Wed and then off again. Her squad isn't going to be too happy but you can't help the way things work out this way. Who would have thought that the softball season would still be going on in Mid-August???
