Aug. 21, 2004 Eastern Magic check in list

That's pretty funny, too bad they don't do much full-service here. The best they can do in some stations is a "ladies day" where the attendants come out and pump for the gals.

I'm bummed out about the CA cruises, we live within a stone's skip distance and it's still too expensive. We are paying less to fly to Florida this time, stay the night before, have DCL transfers, and still have some left for GF's spa treatment than what I was quoted from the TA for this CA cruise. Maybe we'll get in on a cancellation later on.

Two finals down, biochem left to go. Then I can sell my books back, and get a whole $10 back from originally $98 books. Some deal that is... stupid gouging bookstore.

I got a quote for the CA to FL repositioning cruise for the four of us and it was $5700 for a at 9. Not as bad as I thought but Still a big chunk of change....I don't know that we can swing it....We might wait until we are on board and see if anything is still available if not then we will rebook for 8/06 (same week),

GBS, Good luck with Biochem!!! And go out to lunch with your $10!!

PS-Anyone heard from Andy??

Andy here!!! Starting to feel a bit better, I slept most of Wednesday, and when I wasn't sleeping I was laying flat on my back. I always have trouble with anesthesia, and this time was no different. I did get some meds from my doc to help settle my stomach. I finally ate this morning, my first meal since dinner on Monday.

Do you guys know how full your ship is? It looks like we can't make our 8/7 sailing and have asked DU about availability on the 8/21.

It would appear that Cats 4-9 are available from DCL website, don't know what DU will tell you.

I did hear from another one of our families was trying to get a person added to her room but was told the ship was full and no one could be added. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try DU though Sandy. We'd be happy to have you join us.

Verandah Man, Glad to see you up and around again! Just think of the lost meals as extra saved calories for on the ship.;) I have not forgotten about the stamps but also have not made it to the post office. I will get them to you soon I promise. Glad your feeling better.:D

I just heard back from DU. I hope none of you guys are hoping for an upgrade to a verandah. No availability of four person rooms in cats 4, 5 or 6.

Looks like a full ship. I bet something opens up at the 60 day mark.

Denise, you got a great quote for the CA to FL cruise. My advice: put the deposit down and decide later. That pricing level will not be available the second you relinquish your hold. Can you tell that I've spent HOURS on 2005 reservations? Will be working on them again first thing in the morning (moving people around, putting deposits down, transfering reservations). The current price for a cat 9 for 2 adults (no insurance, no transfers) for the CA FL cruise is $5521.78 (just checked the website). I can tell you from personal experience that one of the cabins I booked (actually, Marcotta's cabin) went up >$600 in the minute it took for his data to be imported from his current reservation to the CA FL sailing!! (And after talking to several supervisors, I think that's the price he will end up paying).

We booked for both repositioning cruises and a couple of CA sailings. I'm hoping to sail both repositioning cruises. DH is leaning towards CA to FL and the first CA sailing. It's a lot of vacation days!

Sandy: great to see you on this thread! Will you be joining us on this August 21, 2004 sailing?

WOO HOO! We made it to the double digits. Anyone else going down the week before? Only 8 days and I can start making PS's. :jumping1: :thewave: :thewave:

Colestat, You are so lucky! I have been trying to figure how to use the 7 for 5 the week before. But not getting to much encouragement from DH;) He keeps telling me he has this WORK THING. I don't think that is near as important as a great sale at the Disney resorts!:teeth: Ride Space Mountain for us!:D

Colestat, we are staying at WDW the week after the cruise. Looks like we have this puppy surrounded.:D

I can't remember if I shared this or not, but if all goes well, we will be staying about ten minutes from WDW the week before our cruise in August. I'm still waiting to hear back from my boss since I requested the second vacation week .

I just returned home from my first PT session, and all went very good. My range of motion was very good, all I need to work on is strengthening my muscles, and getting the swelling down. I almost have "NO PAIN" whatsoever, even after therapy today!!!

I'm ready to get on that ship right now!!!

Great news, Andy! I know that rehab can be a real PAIN. Glad you came through it fine.
Have a great weekend, all!
15 more weeks!!!

Horray for you! I know first hand what it is like that first time you move your knee and you feel NOTHING! I had pain for so long that I assumed your knees were supposed to hurt!!

15 WEEKS TO GO!!!!!

:thewave:

In less than a week, we'll be doing the "DOUBLE DIGIT DANCE"

:thewave: :rockband: :jumping1: :jumping1: :cool1: :flower1: :hyper:

Be careful of your dancing there, sir!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :teeth: :thewave: :cheer2:

Yes, dance gingerly over there Andy. For the moment though, I'm doing the I'm-done-with-all-my finals dance. :bounce: :hyper:

:smooth:

GF just told me about the 7 for 5 deal last night, and she, like Disneycrazymom to her DH, is trying to convince me. The package price isn't bad, it would be less per night than the 5 we did in December. It's all the food that adds up!

That's why cruises are so awesome! Can't wait!
