If you want to be in the Magic Kingdom that night, it will cost you about $100 extra per person. And you know you want to go. Doesn’t everyone dream of wearing a costume and Trick-or-Treating in the middle of August?
What is fair is not having non party guests sneaking in candy lines and milling around the park all evening watching shows that they have no right to as a non party guest who did not pay the extra fee.
BTW you can still eat and shop until 7pm but you can't go on rides after 6pm.

What I think is not fair is day guests not only have a short day but have to compete with partygoers for fastpasses from 4 to 6. Party doesn’t start until 7, I don’t think partygoers should get fastpasses starting at 4.

Well then take it up with Disney as they are the ones that make that decision where as non party guests are the ones that make the decision to be truthful and leave or attempt to stay and take advantage.

Well some people go with the intention of going to the party for free and even put costumes on and CM's are trying to hand out the candy quick so the lines don't get too long but I will say I have seen it several times that non party guests are turned away in the candy line.
This has happened in the hot chocolate and cookie lines at MVMCP as well.
Its a bit easier to see a non wristband hand at a QS counter than it is in a dark candy line.
In the years past when we were at the MK and not participating in MNSSHP, they were very strict with getting people out of the park, as they should be. I am surprised people feel that a lot of non-paying party-goers try to attend the party.
Its really nothing new.
I've only gone to MNSSHP twice (2016 and 2017) but I've been to MVMCP a few times the first being 2007 and this crap happened back then too.
