Here is a link to a virtual tour - you can tour each type of room. To get a detailed floorplan, click on the little floor plan shown with the tour. There is luggage space located above the corridor. Some of the rooms have a small recessed space that might hold some luggage.

ROME Train station is close to the port

The main train station in Rome is Termini. From there, take the underground (Metropolitana):

Colosseum: take Line (Linea) B to the Colosseo station. The Colosseum is across the street.

Vatican: take Line A to the Ottaviano station. It's a 15-20 minute walk.

I would recommend anyone wanting to go to the vatician to book a private tour with an official tour guide who can get you in before the opening time of 10am.

The queus are long but you jump this I was in at 8.40am.

Thanks for a great opening post!!! I too have been wanting to do the Med and hoping this time it works out. I put a deposit down for this cruise as well as the ABD which just opened up about a week ago. I will find out for sure in a couple weeks (June 12) if I can take the weeks off next summer for this trip/cruise. Ideally, we want to go the week before, do London and Paris then head to Barcelona. Fingers crossed!!! Don't want to get too far ahead with planning before I can get those weeks for sure .....

Incredibly excited about this trip!! We decided to do a week in Paris before heading to Barcelona for the cruise. Looking into vacation apartment rentals for Paris now.

So definitely no London first. I am working on locking down a nice Paris apartment rental for the week before the cruise. Waiting for airfare to open up on AirFranc for our travel window. After that will put the trip on the back burner for a while. We plan on hitting Disneyland Paris during that first week as well. The cruise itself should be on auto pilot as far as excursions with the ABD lined up.

I looked at the Norwegian Epic, just for pricing... much cheaper of course.. but I really disliked Norwegian.... and nothing compares to Disney.

May get the air through Disney... not sure... includes transfers..
