My daughter, Audrey, is being granted a wish from MAW. She originally wanted to go on a Disney Dream Cruise but with 7 of us it was really hard to book something. Audrey is getting her back up wish of going to GKTW.
Audrey's wish moved very fast and we will actually be travelling very soon.
We did extend Audrey's trip by a few days so she can really enjoy GKTW and use the tickets to the other parks she is getting.
The most amazing part is that last week I managed to get an appointment at the BBB for the first Saturday we are there and we each lunch at the Royal Table afterwards. I don't know how I was able to get a Royal Table reservation on such short notice and have it fall right after the BBB. The best part...she knows about the BBB but has NO clue about the Royal Table.
Audrey is #4 of our 5 children. She was our only term baby and somehow managed to have brain damage usually found in preemies.
Audrey has cerebral palsy and Ehler Danlos (connective tissue disorder). The 2 of these combined has caused her to need a feeding tube. She has issues eating because she's very slow and she has problems with choking. She is never allowed to eat without an adult nearby.
I have another child with Ehler Danlos. I also have a child with Aspergers who likely has EDS as well. We have not looked for a diagnosis because he doesn't have the problems the other kids have. We have a healthy older daughter. Our youngest is being watched for seizures. He also has been having issues gaining weight...he's actually losing weight and while he's 9 1/2 months old he is now the size he was when he was about 5 months. We don't know what is going on with him.
So that's Audrey's wish and a little background on the kids.
