I've been twice in July.
The first visit Belle and the Beast were there and there was a dance.
The second time was no dance, but that may have been because Mickey was the prince and him waltzing with Cinderella would probably have looked a bit odd.
Cinderella is still out on the floor visiting guests though, it is just the photo station that is gone.
During my first visit I met Cinderella, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast and the mice.
Second visit it was Cinderella, Prince Mickey, the mice, Sleeping Beauty and Princess Tiana.
So it does look like her moving to the ballroom floor may have cost the "guest list" a princess if that expression makes sense. Before we had always seen one "couple", Cinderella, the mice and two solo princesses.
I was offered wine and no mention of having to pay extra for it, but I have heard from others that there is a charge for it now.
The Foie Gras for the starters is definitely gone, it has been replaced by a pumpkin special. When I asked it was identified as "lobster cream." Couldn't try it due to seafood allergy, sorry.
Also they now serve some kind of pastry instead of the other starter thing, think it was shrimps?
If you still have a princess fan in your family it is probably still worth the money because the setting is still gorgeous. Personally I definitely would not call it a disappointment.
But like siandonna has said, it is a lot of money and I can understand everyone sho says it is not enough value for your money. My last visit two weeks ago was the first time I have asked myself: "Now is this too expensive to do it again?"
I have noticed that since my March visits the crowd has gone down a lot. In March the restaurant was packed, and this time it was maybe half full, and we are talking Bastille Day weekend here. So it does seem that value for money question is being asked a lot, and it's often not answered in favor of Auberge.
