Hi all,

A friend of mine is off to DLP within the next month and they have a 5 year old girl who will be turning 6 when at DLP.

I was just wondering if anyone could offer any advice and information regarding the princess meal? Is it over a lunch, or do they also do dinner in the late hour openings?

She's a big "princess" girl so would love it I think!

They have started doing limited dinner service again lately. I was able to get a reservation last month for the first time in ages. It's worth asking when you make your reservations.

If she's a big princess fan it's a no contest - you see three princesses, one prince and the mice at least. Way better than one princess at the Pavillion.

We got back from our first trip on Thursday and had a girly afternoon with my 3 yr old daughter - I booked her in for the princess makeover at the disneyland hotel then we went to auberge for the princess lunch.
I booked auberge a week before we went and the earliest time we could get was 2:30pm (think lunch starts from 12 ish)
I went expecting the restaurant to be packed out and it wasn't even half full so maybe people made reservations but didn't show up. Definately book this before going out there.
The food was very fancy and too fussy for me and my daughter but worth it for the experience with the princesses (my daughter ate a bread roll and her desert only!

Hey Tracy, thanks very much for this info.

Could you tell me what sort of food it was, and how much the cost was for the 2 adults 1 child?.. also if possible how much for the make-over at the DLH?

Thanks again :)
