Hey all! :)

I was accepted for Attractions, Spring Advantage 2013! (yay!). I would love to hear any information regarding the role from current/former Attractions CPs! Like, what were your experiences in Attractions, how were the hours, where did you work, where did you hear wasn't a good place to work, or basically just any tidbits!

I'm hoping to be placed in Pirates. I really stressed in my phone interview that Pirates was my favorite ride; does anyone know if this will help them place me there?

Thanks for all of your help, and have a Magical Day! :thumbsup2

Fall 2011 Attractions CP here, I was placed in Tower of Terror. It's better than nothing to stress during your interview where you want to be. I requested about 4 locations, including Tower, and ended up getting it. Anyway, I had a blast, it was a wicked fun job and I think we all loved it. The thing about attractions is that we get paid the least, and at least in my case, worked the least amount of hours. I usually got around 30 hours per week which is the bare minimum allowed for CPs. My schedule was pretty much 3pm to close 5 days a week. I loved the schedule because you were able to go out after wor and not worry about waking up early for work. Of course, this depends on the park, the attraction, and what they need from CPs.

I've done attractions on 2 different CPs- Toy Story Mania, and Great Movie Ride. I wasn't a big fan of TSM (it was a bit too crazy for my taste), but I LOVED working at GMR. I loved doing shows (especially as each show was different).

The closest you can get placed is area. I was in AdLib and got pirates but most people went jungle mansion or art. They place you randomly in the area your interview has no say.
