My mom and aunt are going to be bringing my Grandma down for 5 days the last weekend of January. They do not want to do the theme parks at all. My grandfather died a year ago and my uncle just died so they are looking to take Grandma away for awhile to enjoy the sun and relax.

She doesn't walk well (86 with a bad knee) and will rarely use a wheelchair. We are looking for some fun places to take her that she doesn't have to walk as much. Maybe a zoo with a tram or something like that? She likes shopping and flowers. If any of you have any ideas of things we could do to entertain her that would be great.

Well, I know you said no theme parks.....but maybe consider Sea World :confused3 It is a really beautiful park with lots of pretty flowers and plants and ponds. It also has great shows and penguins, sea lions, dolphins, etc to just sit back and take it all in. I wouldn't recommend her walking throughout the whole park, as it's very big so she would probably need a wheel chair for getting to one area to the other. But it really is a relaxed and happy place to be imho. I hope you find something you will all enjoy!! :flower3:
