What are the best attractions if any for a 12 months old boy?

Thank you, i think my little one will enjoy those as well.

We will try and see.

I agree with OP, small world, peter pan, and Winnie the pooh were my 10 month olds favorites. Both my kids also liked haunted mansion and pirates at that age, they weren't aware enough to be scared of anything yet, those two rides were the same as the other dark rides as far as they were concerned so I wouldn't rule those out if I were you.

All of Fantasyland except SDMT, Jungle Cruise, POTC, Peoplemover, Buzz, see the character, parades, etc.. In Epcot there's Nemo, my son also loved looking at the fish when you exit the ride, Journey into Imagination, the fountains, his favorite thing as an infant was riding in the back of the boat around and around the world showcase lagoon. The pool at the resort was a big hit!

I also didn't think my son would register anything as scary but he was really scared on the Haunted Mansion and cried the entire time.

In addition to those mentioned above, also the Little Mermaid, Dumbo and Aladdin should be good. Pirates does have a couple loud cannon noises so if he is sensitive to loud noises that might not be good...

This thread has all of my favorite things, LOL. I'm a 41-year old infant.

I'll add seeing all the animals at Animal Kingdom. I'm not sure about an infant on the Kilimanjaro Safari (maybe? it's been so long since I've been that I cannot remember), but surely strolling him through some of the treks. And isn't there a petting zoo (affection section or something like that?) I'm totally hitting that up! I love critters!

We took our twins at 13 weeks. They did great. And rode everything. We are going back in December when they are 10 months. However today my boy demonstrated a fear of bubbles. BUBBLES! The poor thing was traumatized. His twin sister tried to grab them (as a normal kid does). Might be an interesting trip if he does get it together by then :duck:

We just went last week with our 9mo daughter and she rode on:

Buzz
Dumbo
Peter Pan
Little Mermaid
Winnie the Pooh
Jungle Cruise
Its a small world (her favorite)
Mickey's Philarmagic
Haunted Mansion
Carrousel of Progress
People Mover

Yep, 12 months is actually a great time for Disney, there is a ton of stuff they will enjoy.

Our then-9-month-old had three freakouts: on People Mover when it came to a dead stop in the dark inside Space Mountain; when our boat stopped due to a malfunction in Pirates of the Caribbean (we were in the same room for 20 minutes - I felt really bad for our boat-mates, who had to listen to our kid scream); and on the downslope in Spaceship Earth, when it's dark for awhile. He loved everything else -- the more light and color, the better. I think Buzz was his favorite ride, since it had knobs he could play with, along with all the spinners (Dumbo, Triceratops Spin, etc.)

Anything with a boat. It's a Small World (translates to "It's a long nap"), Pirates (translates to "Pirates of the Nappabean"), or Living with the Land (You guessed it -- "Living with a Nap").

Kali River Rapids is a major exception, unless you like seeing a wet 1-yr-old child screaming.

I also didn't think my son would register anything as scary but he was really scared on the Haunted Mansion and cried the entire time.

So did my then five year old granddaughter. And on Kali River Rapids (because there's fire!) I thought I was going to lose a certain part of my body because she was griping my chest so tightly I actually had marks on places that shouldn't be seen later on.

And my then five year old grandson (on another trip) just did not like Soarin' so the only thing my daughter-in-law saw of California was the top of her son's head.

A 13 month old would have been so nice!

We took our 3 month old in May and she rode everything that didn't have a height restriction. I also used our Tula carrier so most of the rides she was in the carrier just because she was comfortable in it and sometimes sleeping when we were riding. The only one that was a bit tricky was TSMM because I was by myself with her (DH was with DS) and it was a little hard to hold her (couldn't wear her on this one) and play the game. Still doable, just not as easy.

Try everything without a height restriction. disney is definitely great for families with LOs.
