Last year I believe it was sold out.. It was jersey week and the last week of the food and wine festival along with the run... You can still get a lot done on a sold out night but just have a game plan
Party days are great days to visit MK because most people don't want to go on a day with shorter hours and no nighttime entertainment, so crowds are lower.
It's called Jersey Week because most (if not all) schools in New Jersey are closed for several days, so it's a popular time for people from NJ to go on vacation.

I totally agree with this. I visit during F&W when the Halloween parties take place. I love to do RD at the MK on party days then I hop elsewhere in the afternoon. Even if you don't have hoppers, getting to the MK at RD on a party day you can experience a lot because of the lower crowd levels. And ten hours is still a long time to spend in the MK.

Two years ago I was at WDW for the first half of "Jersey week." I didn't really notice any difference in crowds. Maybe that weekend would have been different, but I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I'll be there the entire week this year. I'm not worried about it.
I have a 6 year old who wont make it that late at night anyway. We are there for last 3 days of F&W, so we will be in Epcot most of those days. Might do RD at MK one of them which is also a party day & end at Epvot.
