I'm going to put this as nicely as I possibly can without trying to offend anyone....
I have a friend, whom I love dearly, who will be coming with me to WDW in a few months. He's a reeeeally big boy, and I was wondering if there were any rides that overweight guests should try to avoid. I don't want to get up to the boarding area and have a cast member turn him away. He's afraid to go on things like roller coasters because of his size. The only ride that immediately comes to my mind is Space Mountain, because if I recall, it's a pretty tight squeeze in those ships.

Thank Goodness that is a thing of the past.
Don't worry, as a poster already stated, Disney is VERY Pooh-sized friendly. I've asked for a seat belt extender on both Star Tours and Soarin and was discretely handed one with no bother at all. A tip for seat belt rides...BEFORE you get in pull the seat belt all the way out and then sit down. Makes for easier fastening once you do sit.
) He went on Soarin' last year, which kind of surprised me, but I was glad that he got to go on most of the rides he wanted to. At 6'3" 400lbs, it's a relief that Disney takes most sizes of their guests into consideration. Good for them.

woulda been pretty dang
