Basically, what attracts you to a person as boyfriend/girlfriend, you know love interest?

Anything, both physical and in their personality.

Physically :
(this is for guys)I'm pretty much up for anything, physically. I'm not horribly picky. I'm a sucker for pretty eyes though. I prefer longer hair, but I can deal with shorter. I like tallish. I like on the thinner side, if I had to pick. muscular isn't bad, but not overly muscular.
(this is for girls)I love long hair. I put a lot of weight into a pretty face. I don't care much about her body, but I prefer curvy over stick thin. not too much shorter or taller than me.

Personality wise:
(this is for both) funny, doesn't take themselves too seriously, not overly happy, but not depressive either. loving. lovable. no commitment issues. decisive. not judgmental. not easily embarrassed. won't try to change me. can take a joke. really laid back-I'm not a high matenence person. Fun to be with. honest.

I still really care about my ex boyfriend steve. What I saw in him was a very nice guy. He was funny, and kinda smart. He has his weird times that I LOVED!! Physically, he had really nice hair and really pretty eyes. Overall he was just amazing.

I love brown hair. I like it short and spikey in the front, if you know what I mean. Eye color doesn't matter. I like guys who are really good at sports and keep themselves healthy.

Personality:
I love funny guys. If you're smart and can make me laugh, you're in LOL. I also like it when a guy can be there for me through whatever. So pretty much I like a smart and funny guy

I LOVE TALL BOYS.
I really, really, really do. Theres no such thing as too tall in my book. If a boy is shorter than 6'0", I generally don't find him very attractive.
That's really the only thing I feel strongly about. Oh, and good dental hygeine. That's important too. I want a boy who can floss!

Personality:
Smart is good. I think I'm more attracted to boys who are smarter than I am. But not just book-smart, cleverness and wit are wonderful too.
And I admit, I do find a little arrogance somewhat charming.

I think that overall, someone who is laid back but not apathetic, who can find silly, way out there things and topics funny, doesn't have a problem acting like a kid, likes Star Trek, and most importantly, doesn't take life too seriously would have a truly attractive personality. Someone who just enjoys life and having fun, who can take a joke and crack them, even about something he likes, without being mean about it. Being fairly intelligent is always great, and loyalty is very, very attractive to me.

Physically, I don't really have much preference by way of size or height or colouration; no one too rakish or smug, ideally, (smugness for some reason always comes off as a physical thing to me), and hair covering the eyes is more irritating than attractive to me. Long, pink, spiked, frizzy, braided- I don't care, but the style where the guy's hair is below his ears/chin and swept slantwise across his eyes and face isn't attractive at all.

I hate muscley guys. I mean those guys who are so ripped that their veins bulge. I like scrawny guys xD
I prefer long hair. I mean like shaggy, to the point when they shake it, it looks all cool and swooshy. I don't mind longer hair to the shoulders either. Short hair isn't bad, but buzz cuts are out of the question.
I love any color hair, I'm not crazy over male redheads, though some are rather good looking.
Freckles are adorable on the nose.
I love brown and green eyes on a guy. Something seems so sweet about a guy with brown eyes. I don't adore blue eyes unless they make that person look absolutely gorgeous.
I prefer taller than me, but then again, everyone is.

Personality wise:

I want a guy who isn't afraid of tiny bits of PDA. I mean like kisses on the cheek, hugging, cuddling, holding hands, anything that is sweet in any manner. I love humor, but not mean humor. I mean random out of the blue humor like mine, that really understands my jokes. They don't need to be number one smart guy, but I'm not going to go out with an idiot either. I want someone who isn't always looking for fun, I'm not an outrageous wild person. I will want to stay home and watch dvd's, play cards or just talk. I really want someone I can talk to, about anything. Either emotionally, or just random about random crap that I hate. I don't want to date someone who is ridiculously happy all the time. I want someone who's down to earth, and can understand why I talk about sad things and who doesn't ask why I'm not happy. They have to understand I'm naive, and I know very little about the world. I hate people who snap at me because I start talking about something, I guess I really didn't know anything about. I become flustered when that happens. I'd like someone who can cook too, that would be sweet.
