My family and I will be going to USO & IOA in December. I need to know if my husband will fit rides (so that I can spare his feelings, need to know ahead of time) He is a big guy, so can anyone let me know what rides "Big People" can't fit on.
Thanks!

Most rides at Disney are size friendly. Go to allearsnet.com and click on WDW at large. It has a lot of information about this topic and will likely put your mind at ease! As a size 20 woman there has never been a single thing I felt too tight getting into by the way.

The only places he might have trouble is with the coasters at IOA and The Mummy at Univ.; all of which have try-out seats out front so that you can make sure you can fit. The IOA coasters also have bigger 2 strap seats (rows 4 and 7 I believe), one of the try-out seats out front is configured that way. The only place at Disney that poses any problem is the Cyber Space Mt. simulator at Disney Quest.

I can not impress to you enough to go to www.allearsnet.com. They have a section called WDW @ Large. All kinds of information about riding the rides as a large person. I studied that very closely on our last trip in Oct. 2004 as I was afraid of being embarrassed. I rode everything and didn't have a problem. I was a size 28 and had gotten down to a 24 by the time the trip came but am very proud to say I am now a size 16 and shinking!

I did see however one man not fitting on Space Mountain. I would say he was 300+. He got on with his girlfriend who was large also. They were in different seats. He tryed and tryed but just couldn't do it. I felt very bad for him.

At IOA, incredible hulk ride, they have two seats for pooh sized people. just ask the person when you get up front that you want the bigger seat. They have always accomodated me. Also re: space mountain. I have trouble on this one, I fit but it is a little awkard getting onto the ride. I am a size 22 and have fit on everything (except for the non-pooh size seat on incredible hulk). I know that incredible hulk and dueling dragons do have "fake" seats right before you get into line. If you are too embarassed to try, but feel you have to, make it look like you are taking a picture of the person for a keepsake.

Also forgot to mention, if you go to mgm and ride rock n roller coaster: you want the front of each section because it is easier to get in and out (more leg room). I always ask for the front and they have always let me.

There is a section on Universal and IOA in the Disney at large section. Depends on his size. If he is a 2-3x or larger, or his chest is 52-54" or better he will have problems on several rides. They do have a some seats that are larger, but if he's much past that size, it won't matter. Does he have problems with rides at his local parks? If he does, he will at Universal. They are not nearly as accomadting as WDW. I have no problems at Disney, I wouldn't make the coasters at Universal. Sorry to say that he may have problems. It depends on his size, just how 'big' he is, and to some degree his body build. Check out the web page and see if it answers your questions.
