Have any of you heard of this site?

DH is coming up on being out of school for 2 years with no teaching job. I'm trying to find creative ways for him to find and apply for jobs.

Any advice would be great.

He is a K-12 certified (Ohio) Art teacher.

We want to stay in Ohio, but if he can find the right job somewhere else, we're desperate enough to move.

TIA!!

That is one that I like to use but I also like using our states listing. NJ has a website that lists a lot of jobs at NJ schools. It's NJhire.com. Maybe your state has the same thing? He would also probably do well to go the the school's individual websites and look for postings there. Good luck!

Teachgeorgia .com offeres jobs here in the state of GA. The pay is ok in most of the bigger counties. You can look for jobs there.
Hope that helps!

I've never heard of it before, but I'd be afraid of giving someone $1,995.00 in order to find a job for me. I mean, each school district should have a listing of what they have to offer, right. Does the college that he went to have a career placement center to assist him in his job search?

Here, this site looks like it has job openings in Ohio. It also looks like it is free, but double check that Teachers Support Network

Here is an Art Teacher Position open in Northeast Ohio Search Soft (It is midway down the page) The home page for that site is http://www.ode.state.oh.us/jobs/

I would exhaust all of my efforts before I gave someone some money that I might not be able to afford. I know I personally couldn't afford $2000 in hopes that someone could find me a job.

Thanks! He routinely checks our state site, but our area is in a really bad way.

Blondy you've used the site before? It doesn't cost anything? I couldn't tell from the homepage.

Georgia would be nice. We have some family there.

Keep the suggestions coming!

I wish there was a listing of all of the state sites. I bet I could find them through the state's homepage.

Thanks!! I had a feeling it cost something, but I couldn't find the price.

I think Toronto is pretty far from us, but I'll look into it.

I appreciate the help everyone!!

I'm sorry I had that one confused with teachers.net. That website has a board that has a few jobs posted, a lot of junk too though. Another site I like is www.recruitingteachers.org/channels/clearinghouse/. You can search by state. I also posted a couple other teaching job listing websites that I have used. Sorry for the confusion.
