How much should one acre of buildable land cost....in a middle class suburb?
Maybe in a subdivision, or even on a "regular" street.

There is some land available in the asking price range of $220-250k, but it has sat for a long time. I check the transaction pages, but have not seen land sold in awhile.

What area are you looking at buying in?

Near where my fiance's family lives there are multiple areas with land for sale from what I've seen when we visit them. Thats in the Carver/Plymouth/Kingston area.

We're looking in East Bridgewater and Halifax. Halifax is next to Carver.

It really depends on which area you're looking at.
I can tell you the Greater Attleboro area averages $135 -$150k per quarter acre.

Wow, That's a lot of $$ for a 1/4 acre!
