ATTN San Diegans!! Need help with hotel choice!

HI

I leave in 10 days....have reservation at the Handlery for $99/nite. I understand that it
is a NICE hotel....I came across a deal at the Red Lion Hanalei for $79/nite, booked that
with the intent to cancle the Handlery, but now not so sure. Read some views that said
parts of the Red Lion are still under refurbishment.
Anyway, I've 2 reservations and can't make up my mind which one would be the better
deal/better hotel...Please someone give me some imput...this trip will be THE one of my lifetime
I don't want to make any mistakes....this is driving me
