I am not sure if this has been posted. USA3000 Airlines from Pittsburgh PA has just added Orlando starting in Oct 2005. It is limited service (3 days a week Mon, Wed, Fri.)

Thanks for the info. I just checked flights for Nov 25 to Dec 2 (Fri to Fri). The flights they have are either Thursday or Saturday, both ways. Flight departs PIT 8:45pm, arrives MCO 11:05pm. Way too late.

USA3000 Must change up on their flight schedules. My DH and I were looking at the last week of April 2006. For that month they had the flights listed for Mon, Wed, Fri mostly leaving at 3:10 arriving at MCO 5:30.
We are also waiting to try out SWA from PIT

I'm excited USA 3000 is going to serve MCO, but I'm not much of a fan of the flight times.

However, we flew Southwest to Chicago last week from PIT, and I have to say, the gate area was a madhouse!!! It was probably even worse on the way back, people pushing, etc. I'm not sure if that's really the way we want to start out a flight to Orlando! And, wouldn't there be a lot of preboards, too?

Cali--USA3000 is a charter airline. They can change flight times, add a stop or even change your flight to an indirect connection and you're not even entitled to a refund unless they change the day you arrive. They're owned by Apple Vacations. They could even cancel your flight if they want to add an extra flight to Cancun.

They don't have that much equipment. If weather causes them to cancel a flight it might be days before they can get you on another flight. After the hurricanes last year airlines like SW were adding extra flights to get their customers home, the charter airlines made guests wait for days.

Great for guests who don't have an alternative.

On flights to MCO SW will sometimes stop all family pre-boarding. I don't usually see that much pushing but many passengers will line up very early. Get an "A" BP and unless there are a lot of pre-boards or continuing passengers for a non-originating flight and you'll get decent seats even if you wait and board at the end of the "A" group.
