Disruption in Catering Service

We are currently experiencing a problem with service on most of our flights that offer meals serviced by one of our caterers. This may also affect beverages and snacks. We regret any inconvenience this causes our customers. We are working to resolve the matter as soon as possible.

I would pack water, drinks and snacks for the plane. Especially for a long flight! Over on Flyertalk.com there was a note they called an international traveler and warned him there would be no food for 14 hour flight!

Well, I'll give credit to Delta for trying to warn it's passengers. After they close the hatch it's a little late to say "oh, by the way..."
