Are there any kind of cookies that should NOT be frozen? I'm in a baking mood and I've already done, choc. chip, spritz and MM oatmeal cookies, but I'm worried about them lasting until Xmas. I've got them in ziplocks in the fridge, is this enough or should I freeze them. Also on the agenda are snickerdoodles, peanut butter, choc. dipped orange biscotti, zebra cookies, italian wedding cakes and peppermint meringue drops (I really question freezing the meringue) Should I continue baking, wait, freeze?

It seems to me that you can freeze all of the cookies mentioned (I don't know what zebra cookies are :) ), but I would not freeze the biscoti or the meringues. The chocolate on the biscoti will separate in the freezing process. The meringues are best stored at room tempreture, not in the refrigerator or freezer. I hope this helps. :) And I hope I'm giving you good advice. :o  :p
Maybe someone else has more suggestions. :)

I don't know what zebra cookies are

They are chocolate cookie rolled in powdered sugar that "crack" when baked so it looks like 'stripes' and you put a striped hershey kiss on top.

The meringues are best stored at room tempreture,

Thanks! I probably would have put them in the fridge, even if it was only a few days before xmas!

I was just told by my husband I was baking WAY to early to expect any cookies to be left. I said that he and our daughter just need to control themselves, he told me that was totally unrealistic.
