Attn: ALL DVCers Who Closed Oct. 4th, 2000 !

Awh ! that Magical date LOL.

We finally got our membership cards March 3rd, and we hope you got yours recently too. But that is not why I am posting today. I just recevied an email from MS's. I emailed them 3 days ago asking them to look in to the matter that all of us who did close Oct. 4th did not get any Welcome Package, Beach Bag etc.

They responded that they recognize that there was a problem with the 'Magical Date' of Oct 4th. and have contacted the vendor about the problem. They also went on to say that they have gone back to the vendor requesting that the Welcome Home Kits (which include the Tote Bags) be sent out to those members that were overlooked on the October 4th closing. They also added that all members should expect to see their Welcome Kits by the end of this month. (I will assume they mean April, as March is pretty much wrapped up !). They closed their message asking me to contact them if I hadn't receved my welcome kit by the end of April.

I hope this helps someone. I'd be curious to hear if any of us are out there, who closed Oct. 4th, STILL do not have their cards.

I just received my cards and welcome kit yesterday. However, I wasn't sure if that was because they finally got around to doing them or because I called in January and they said that they would make sure to mail new cards out to me.

I guess it was because they finally got around to it. It was funny because my wife called me at work to let me know we had received them and I had been just about to call MS to ask about them.

My cards came earlier this week without the welcome kit. I emailed MS (again!!) and received a reply two days later saying that they were looking into it. Well...today my welcome kit finally arrived! It included another set of cards, another Wilderness Lodge pin (I did receive one a month or two ago when they were sent out to everyone), and the tote. Now I can sleep again at night. (just kidding!)

My wife and I also just received our membership cards. We weren't sure if that was because we called or because they finally got around to it.

The welcome kit, though, has yet to arrive. The wait continues...

Had to request our membership cards in February and just got them last week. In the morning mail today (3/31), we got our Welcome Kit with another set of membership cards as well as a second VWL pin and a wonderful big open tote bag! What a nice surprise!

Actually we got our welcome kit but didn't get something much more important-our deed! I have completely forgotten about it until a few weeks ago we got a call from ms asking us if we had gotten someones else's deed and they had gotten ours. We didn't get any at all. They said that they were hoping that we did because this members deed is missing!

We called January 3 about our cards. We received them at the end of January. Today we received the neat Beach tote, 2 more membership cards, and another VWL pin. What a great surprise.

We received our Welcome Kit today. Complete with a second set of Membership Cards, Extra Large Tote Bag, and VWL pin !! Hopefully all Oct. 4th 2000 DVC'ers will be caught up soon.
