It seems to be OK to share CS meals but what is the attitude of the servers if you share at a TS restaurant. I am obviously not talking about buffets. If we are at a TS with my son and daughter I am thinking 2 or 3 credits will be more that enough considering all the food. My 12 year old eats like a bird. Just wondering if this is frowned upon or not. It would allow us to do a couple of the restaurants that are 2 credits each.

We are planning to share when we get the plan this June. We usually share when we do table service meals because my girls and I do not eat a lot. We have never received bad service because of this. Actually, they usually are very helpful and bring out a second plate or more often than not they split it in the kitchen and bring everyone their own plate.

We are planning on sharing as it doubles the amount of restaurants we can try!

DH and I shared a couple of TS meals while on the dining plan last fall. We had absolutely no problems at all :)

I hope that this works--it will ehlp us use the plan longer and go to more places.

Here are what we have planned for TS
Ohana--I know we cannot share here
Mama Melrose---we are on the fantasmic package, but will probably change it
LeCelliar--here is where I would like to share 1 adult and 1 child
Japan--also would like to share 1 adult and 1 child
Whispering Canyon-- thinking about sharing 1 adult and 1 child

If we can share at at least 2 places then we can add a Character Breakfast for no charge. I am thinking that if we do like 2 appetizer and 2 entrees and then dessert--we should all be full. I guess we would have to pay for the extra drinks--or we could just get water.

We used the dining plan for 8 days last August (the free dining plan). We are a family of 4 ~ 2 adults and 13 and 9 year old girls. We shared almost every TS meal and it was never frowned upon at any Disney restaurant. I would usually just order for everyone to keep it simpler for the server and say "We would like ..." and we are on the dining plan and will use 1 adult and 1 child credit to pay for it. We always tipped extra and never once had a server act shocked or even question it. We had tremendous Disney service at all restaurants too.

For us, it wasn't about the money as we were eating free anyway. We hate to waste food and simply could not eat that much. Also, when riding rides all day, who wants to feel stuffed! We also wanted to try as many Disney restaurants as possible and knew the dining plan was the way to do it.

We kept saying that vacation was all about the FOOD
