attire for Halloween on the High Seas

I read all the Halloween on the High Seas threads with delight. I enjoyed exploring but couldn't find the answer to one of my questions.

I see that masks are not allowed except when posing for photos or attending the halloween parties, guests are not to wear them around the ship and are asked to carry them to and from the masquerade venues.

I was planning on wearing some stage makeup and a false nose. While technically not a mask I suspect it would obscure my features almost as much as a mask. Would I run afoul of the fun it I wore full makeup or should I reconsider my face?

I have been on three Halloween on the High Seas cruises. Are you planning on wearing this full face make-up each day or for the Halloween party? If for the party only, then I cannot imagine it being a problem. There were SO many people dressed up!

That's wonderful news!

I only want to wear the false nose and stage makeup for the Halloween party.
I do plan to "Disney bound" every evening by suggesting a character with my clothes and accessories but that's hardly a true costume and my face will certianly not be disguised except for the party.

The makeup is fine...the mask has to do with your vision when walking around a moving ship. Things can start to get a little wonky when the boat is swaying, there are small steps, and you can’t see as clearly. Your brain which sometimes plays little tricks when walking down a hallway that’s also moving has a little more trouble when further restricting your field of vision.

I think you will LOVE it! We saw many amazing costumes — really, really creative. Many guests went all out and it sounds like you will as well. Super fun for those who wish to participate and those who just wish to look (like me)! Have fun!
