I am just at the very early stages of a possible Disney wedding and I like the idea of using the Attic as a reception site. I am looking to anyone who used the Attic at the Boardwalk, did you decorate the room, if so how and/or do you have any pictures.

Thanks!

We are using the included white linens for most of the tables with simple pink flower arrangements. You really don't need much at the Attic. There is already a lot going on!

If we do end up using the Attic for our reception, we will use the simple white linens and these centerpieces...which are simple but I think elegant as well...

Hi! We used the Attic and didn't decorate it one bit. One of the main reasons we picked it was that it has so much character already, you don't really need to do anything to it.

Lurkyloo is right! You barely need to decorate the Attic. I took Lurky's invaluable advice though and went with a little bit of decoration, and here is what it looked like:

We used (cheap) stuff like banana leaves and coloured glass in the vases.

HTH!

Wazzo...did you set up the banana leafs...or was that something your disney planner suggested and organized? I'm new.

Welcome!

I worked with my floral coordinator for these centrepieces. I really just suggested the banana leaves because they went with our theme, and because of Lurkyloo amazingness I knew they were cheap! My floral coordinator was fantastic, and really helped me stay on the inexpensive side of things. I also did not have to set them up. Disney sets up everything!!

PS - if you are new, I would really suggest checking out Passporter's Disney Weddings & Honeymoon eBook... it is the best thing you can buy when planning a Disney wedding!!

HTH!! :goodvibes

Wazzo - I love the banana leaves - so simple but effective . They really go with the sort of Victorian theme of the Attic room. The Victorians used palor palms in fact they crowed their palors with the latest exotic plant treasures brought back by explorers and botanists.

Thanks for the link and recomendation!

You're welcome! The ebook is my #1 recommendation. It will really help you come up with some great ideas!

Oh, and I found a close up picture of the natural stone and coloured glass in the vases:
