Attention Teens...

I have a question...I'm going on the 4 day cruise on February 16th, 2003 and I have no idea what to bring to wear! Is there a formal night!? If so...what should i wear? What is worn to dinner?? What should I wear during the day? I need to start my planning! Please help! Thanks~

I just returned from a 7 day cruise with my teen cousins.....basically by day you are in your bathing suit. To dinner we would wear a skirt or nice pants outfit or capris and then change into jeans/shorts for after dinner. On the 7 day cruise there was a formal and semi-formal night....but Im not sure how it goes on the 4 day cruise- check out this link for more detail http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=267396. For formal we all wore nice dresses- like prom dresses- and on semi-formal I wore a nice skirt and shirt. Keep an eye on the weather reports because we just got back from the 1/4 cruise and it was cold!!! Good luck. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Alright I'll give you my personal low down being a fellow teen myself! I went on the seven day Eastern Cruise in February 2001 (during valentines day week actually!). Clothing wise... I wore shorts, tank tops, spagetti straps, sandals (mostly flip flops) cause all the teens and I were always spontaniously pushing or throwing each other into the pool! lol. On formal nights just for the sake of cuttin down what I had to haul around in my luggage b4 the cruise (we did disney world), I just brought a really sparkly top (it looks fancy) then just a basic black skirt. This next time we leave I'm packing some short skirts. Jean ones just for the day and a business looking beige one for the evenings. Like the other post said, some girls were in their suits the whole time but I found most of us were in shorts and tanks. It was easier to run around playing the murder mystery game and the scavenger hunt!!! In conclusion, *whew* just pack anything that you would wear on a hot summer day but don't forget one sweater and a pair of pants just in case you hit a cold night!!! Have a blast!!
