I just returned from a great (although crowded) week at WDW and was lucky enough to catch several Off Kilter shows. I arrived at EPCOT last Monday ready to see the boys but found the shows had been cancelled. Bummer! Went back Tuesday and arrived just as they were finishing a set and noticed that Mark, The Green Machine, wasn't there and there was a guy subbing for him. Tony came down to talk to me (lucky me!) and told me that Mark is back in Ireland right now because his dad is really sick and is need of a liver transplant but unfortunately isn't even strong enough to undergo surgery. He said he didn't think the prognosis was very good. Tony was so upset that it made me want to cry! Anways, I just thought maybe some of the more loyal Off Kilter fans would like to go the the Off Kilter website and send Mark some well wishes. Also, if anyone else gets down to WDW and hears any further info maybe they could post it here.
By the way, I am pretty sure that the name of the guy subbing for Mark is David Horvath and he did a good job. Tuesday was his second day with the band (they didn't play Monday so they could rehearse!) and while he looked a little uncomfortable he did his best and sounded great.
Thanks for letting me share!
