If you had to choose between subscriptions to Investor's Business Daily and The Wall Street Journal.... which would you pick??

DS and DH are trying to decide - they will probably end up with both when it's all said and done!

If you're only interested in reading something for investment purposes, get Investor's Business Daily. If you're interesting in reading more in depth in all areas of the business and finance world, buy WSJ.

Personally, I would get a subscription to WSJ, it has more to offer, IMO.

I'd say WSJ too. It has much more to offer and has alot of interesting articles, about a lot more than what IBT would give. I had a subscription while in college (my college's school of business required it of us) and it was well worth it.

I think the main draw of the IBD is the stock ratings. They are mainly interested in the investing side of it right now, but DS16 is looking towards a career in business so I am sure the WSJ would definitely be of interest to him.

Hmmmm... If they don't have them both by December, I think my Christmas shopping just got a little bit easier!

Keep in mind that the stock ratings are simply one person's view on stock picking, whereas the WSJ would give you more information about the company's themselves and allow you to make your investing decisions yourself.
