is helping out our military families once again. I would also like to add that working in the Family Readiness Program, I have become educated on how many of the civilian employers are dealing with and supporting their deployed employees. Home Depot wins hands down so far in their support and benefits to deployed employees as well as their families left behind.

Home Depot stores, through the volunteer program "Project Home Front," are providing up to $1,000 for home repairs to families whose military sponsors are deployed.

Wow, that's really great. I'm sure there are a lot of military families that could use that kind of help right now too with winter coming on.

I know a family whose dad just got back & may be deployed again in June 04.

Would he be eligible?

It says families of deployed service members only. I don't know how long it will go on though, hopefully for your friends sake, at least until June.
